I've been putting computers together now for 40 years. Along the way I try & keep track of the slot covers but the newer cases on the cheaper side don't have removable slot covers, rather they are stamped and cut from the existing sheet metal. Invariably when you redo the computers you end up needing a slot cover and rather than take from another system, I opted to purchase a 25-pack even though I only needed 1 for this computer (see photo).I will use the others in the older computer cases that I will be selling. Rather than sell them w/o all their slot covers and screws I will put together a complete set per the parts list and then sell it. That way whoever buys it will have a complete set and hopefully make it easier for them to put together a retro computerThis slot cover fits nice and flush to the back of the case.Tip: Don't over-tighten and it should stay flush to the back of the computer. If you decide to over-tighten you may have to bend the area at the top since these tend to be bent slightly more than 90 degrees.

Smooth finish, solid gauge metal, correct size and good value. I've seen all kinds of slot covers over the years, but these are the most solid, high quality slot covers I have seen as long as I can remember. People that build black cases will regret that their nice smooth finish probably won't hold paint all that well, but I don't care about that. Most new cases have one-time tear-out slot covers, so it is good to have some of these on-hand to recover after configuration changes.Very pleased with quality and value. I wish more often-needed products were as good. Lesser quality of materials would be just fine as long as the size would be as accurate.
