Excellent review of the overall V-1 through the United States adaptations. I wish that there were drawings of some of the support transport dollies. It is an excellent read and addition to my library.

This book deals with the V-1 Flying Bomb,from its inception,its development,and its strugle to become an operational weapon of terror.This is a very short paged book with excellent color diagrams and period b/w photos;a good introductory book.

Good little book on this

Given that this is a small 48 page book, the author has done a fair job in producing what might be called an overview of the V1. However, some of the text is vague and it becomes clear this is due to the author having little understanding of technical matters and/or failing to research technical matters thoroughly. To mitigate this somewhat, the book has numerous interesting illustrations which, frankly, are more useful than much of the text.

Enjoyed reading this little study .Would have liked a few more colour plates especially of post war copies.Would like to see a sister volume on the Tomahawk cruise missile..
