Almost perfect.
These necklaces have been great for my two boys who chew everything, as well as their three-year-old fashionista sister. My only complaint is that the clasps are too flimsy. My boys destroyed them right away. I have replaced them with tougher clasps and painted the clasps with nail polish designed to deter thumb suckers. So far so good. =)

And I especially love how darn easy they are to clean
"She LOVES them!!!!! They have really helped her anxiety in school. She changed schools in October and has picked up a finger and nail biting habit. She hasn’t chewed on her fingers since I gave them to her. And I especially love how darn easy they are to clean!!!" She also loves how pretty they are :)

Three Stars
Chew beads are great but the clasp is cheap plastic. One chew and the necklace can't close anymore.

Very helpful...
5/23/2017This necklace has been very helpful for my almost three year old son living with being on the autism spectrum with sensory disorder. Each time I find my son chewing on an object, I redirect him to his "star & bubbles" necklace.I bought six different types of necklaces made for kids with "sensory disorders".I washed each one with soap & water, after they air-dried, I wrapped them in saran wrap, and handed each one to my son. He rejected the first four without showing any interest. (He did not even put them in his mouth!)My son LOVED the fifth one I handed to him. I know he selected it because each "bubble" is a different bright color that is put together to make a rainbow (it is the 18" necklace made by BITSY BEADS).As I was picking up the discarded necklaces, he saw this necklace, and grabbed it with excitement! He LOVED the star!My reason for rating this necklace 3☆ instead of 5☆ is because;1). BITEY BEADS may not realize some people have sensory issues with things around their neck. After I put the necklace on my son, he quickly pulled it off of him (the "breakaway clasp" works very well!) and complained it was "too heavy" (FYI in reading about sensory disorders I have learned many feel necklaces, ties, collars buttoned all of the way up, turtlenecks, etc are too tight and/or too heavy. My son cannot stand wearing a tie, nor his dress shirts buttoned all of the way up. But he CAN wear a jacket zipped all of the way up. So that is why I thought we'd try a necklace.) I think he may wear this as a necklace if I can remove some of the weight. (I want to reiterate that this necklace REALLY is NOT heavy/tight for most people with sensory disorders.)2). BITEY BEADS did not cover the "breakaway clasp" with "bubbles"/beads or something that will prevent the "female" piece from being chomped flat (I attached a photo to better explain).I was able to easily reshape the "female" piece with pliers so it could connect to the other clasp and hang as a necklace/bracelet.I handed it back to him, instructing him to NOT chew on the black pieces. Because if the clasp cannot be connected, the 22" necklace will hang so long that it will drag on the dirty ground as he carries it in his hand.Ten minutes later I looked at his necklace & he had once again chomped the piece flat.SO it now cannot be used as a "breakaway" necklace/bracelet (I do not see any point in constantly reshaping it/rounding it out.)

Kid Chew Toy!
My kid loves to chew, and this keeps him away from his clothes, or worse. It is sturdy enough so far and has stood up to his abuse, but it has a breakaway clasp for safety.

So far so good
This product has help my ADHD child a lot. He started the habit of biting his nails every time he was requierd to sit still in class and the necklace has help him reduce the figernail biting. We have had them for a couple of weeks now and it is still in perfect condition.

Star is too soft, choking hazard
My son was able to bite off the tips of the stars and i do not consider him an aggressive chewer by any means. Made us sad as it wasn't cheap and he loves the necklace.
