Black ABS Filament 1.75mm, NovaMaker Less Odor ABS 3D Printer Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 1kg Spool(2.2lbs)

I did use a lot of spool of ABS from allot of provider some over $50 a spool, some under $20 all good but this one is my new to go with. I have heated chamber on a Raise 3D Pro, extrude 250c table 100c, printing at 40 to 50mm/s on the outside surfaces, 60 to 80 any internal features. 10 to 20% overlap, nuzzle 0.4 to 0.6, layer 0.1 to 0.35, 90% extrusion speed. I have no oozing compensation other than a .05 retraction only on external surface. No oozing, no zit, no layer delamination, smoot and quite shiny finish. Ya you bet, the .35mm layer is fast like creasy and ruff but depend on my application, it's not an issue.I make prototype and usable parts. I tap-it after, use precision reamer in some case and it also machine well. It's has very good impact resistance and quite stiff.I have zero issue with it, it's actually my new favorite and enjoy the price too...The print job I did on the pictures was with the 0.6 nuzzle with a outside speed of 50mm/s, 80 inside wall thickness 1.5 to 2.5mm.Not that other filament won't be able to do-it but some will not look as good, some would have oozing and in some case peal-off the printer, those piece have 300mm tall or wide. That alone with ABS is impressive. I have actually the best possible condition for ABS. Enclosed printer, heated chamber at 70c, an excellent filament, very dry and no brainer set-up.An other details, I didn't notice any variation from the beginning of a spool to the end, not spool to spool and manufacturer batch to batch. No noticeable change in the characteristic, ease to print and color. That job alone took about 8 spool, I didn't have any jam or entegulement or issue with the filament or spool. Actually the spool bore have a nice offset making it a better to hold in place and eliminate some unwanted rubbing on other surfaces while in use.Give-it a try and I hope you will be able to enjoy-it as much as I do... This is my first ABS print of any kind. I bought 3 spools of this filament (grey, black and blue) based solely on the average star rating and price. After reading several reviews I was like, oh know, did I make a bad purchase? Idk what the stigma with ABS is, or maybe this filament is that good. I'm impressed with the print coming from a stock Vyper. Adhered well, printed good. Dimensional accuracy is acceptable. Printed at 235°/100° and I'm happy with results. Did have a little stringing. May up the flow on XY by a little (105%?) and up the temp to 240° and see what she does. Did print slow but overall I'm happy with this purchase. Voron 2.4 parts on the way!

love the color have bought before and will buy again

The Good:Prints well, has good adhesion, has been consistent so far throughout printing with it (I'm about 1/3 roll into it).The Bad:What they picture versus what you get are two different styles of color. What they picture is a rainbow, but what you get is more like a blue-ish green that fades into a pink rose and then back again. The fade between colors is looooong, so it will work well with large prints but not well with small if you want a color transition.Overall:I'm happy with it. Prints turned out looking great and can't complain other than it's not the color I ordered. Only thing they need to update is the actual color of the product.

I had mixed experiences with novamaker pla but their ABS in white makes great prints with no drama. It wants to have a tight 1st layer - lots of squish. Have used about 3 rolls of the white with consistent good results.

I have a bambu x1 never has an issue printing except with this black. Breaks in the tool head constantly.

Have printed a few things with this filament. Something i do like is the silk look after the print is finished. the colors are fairly vivid after printing, and the thickness is consistent enough my printer didn't have any issues (creality 10spro)Something im not sure about tho is the way the colors grade across the length. If your doing a small print it will likely be only a single color rather than multiple, vs if your doing something large then you will see the colors grade from one to another across the whole print.Will do some more testing to see just how things look, tho i can say on your printing make sure the orientation is lined up with how you want the colors grading across. If you do a wide but low piece the colors will grade from bottom up, but that same piece said up and printed vertically will have the colors grade from side to side. so keep that in mind.

Good adhesion. However the print durability isn't quite there. I use the same settings for most PLA and have no issues. This feels brittle. It's decent for solid infill, but I just couldn't use it long term. May be fine for figurines or something for that

These rolls of ABS were great! Easy to use, no smell and easy to print with. Practically no warping, even on long prints. Color is beautiful. Very goid product, definitely buy again. Pleasantly surprised.
