Happy Nappers Ladybug

I didn't read the reviews on this until I had already ordered it as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I was a little concerned about the reports that the doorbell sounds like "rapping," so the first thing I did when it came in was press the door bell to experience this mysterious sound for myself.I was expecting it to start playing NWA or something after the reviews I'd read, but that's not what happened. There's sort of a cricket sound and then what sounds like someone beatboxing. It is weird but not offensive. I would definitely not bother with returning the item over the issue.Outside of that the toy is good-sized but also cheaply made (hence the odd doorbell noises). It arrived in good condition but I have my doubts about the seams being able to hold up to prolonged use. I'm okay with a needle and thread, though, so that doesn't worry me too much.The ladybug is attached to the house, so the picture is a little misleading. You pull the ladybug out the front door and stuff the house material into her back for use as a stuffed animal. You stuff the ladybug back into the house for pillow mode. Easy.For what I paid for it I'm happy, and I know my daughter will get a kick out of it. Had I paid more for it I would probably feel differently. With product quality considered it is definitely not worth its regular price.

I wish I would have thought of making these toys. My daughters and nieces love them. Everyone got one for Christmas and immediately they started playing with theirs. On the other hand these are extrememly annoying for parents because we are constantly having to help switch them from house to pet over and over again for the kids that are too small to do it for themself. And really NOBODY is going to actually use this for a pillow. It is extremely uncomfortable once the pet is shoved back inside. A plus was the great deal on Amazon for them before Christmas.

My daughter saw these on TV and just had to have one. We have several pillow pets and I like them becaue they can use them as pillows. When these are turned into their "home" they have a very large and hard zipper on it. She can't really use it as a pillow like the pillow pets. they are cute and fun to turn in and out, but don't expect to actually use as a pillow.

I got this for my 3yr old for her birthday and she absolutely loves it! As a stuffed toy it's great. However, As a pillow, which it's supposed to turn in to at night to sleep on, it's not very good. First off, it's to bulky to be used as a pillow in the first place. My girl was very propped up and uncomfortable when she used it as a pillow. Also, if you don't stuff the little guy back into his house the right way, the sound box within the pillow get's pushed to the front making the pillow have a random hard spot. Like I said before, as a toy great! As a pillow, not so good.

I called Amazon specifically to ask i the lady bug and house were two separate items. I was told they were and ordered it. When I recd it, the fact was they are sewn together. The product may be fine for what it is, but not for the purpose for which I purchased it, namely I wanted just the little house.

My 2 year old loves it, of course, because she loves any stuffed animal. The photo shown looks like it is 2 separate pieces but the lady bug is attached to the house and you can stuff it in or out, but it does not detach. Just wanted to clarify that for others. It was a good price though, like under $7 so worth it for that.

I purchased a few different Happy Nappers almost a year ago and I am really surprised how well they held up. All the zippers, sound, seems work and are still intact. My kids ages 4-10 could all switch them from animal to pillow on their own, the only one that needed help was my 2yr old. They are a nice size and for the price you can't beat what you get.

Purchased this for a friend of mine who loves silly toys like these. Really loved this as it is soft and a fun toy in general. It is the size of a cushion so you can easily rest your head on it or even place it on your lap for more comfort.
