Works
It works great. I should have gotten the 90 degree one but this still works.

Used this for 10G NIC in my m-ITX NAS build
Plugged the m.2 end into my motherboard, folded the cable, and then plugged my 10GBE NIC into the PCI-E x4 slot. Booted the system, and BAM! 10Gbit networking! This thing worked flawlessly, and I highly recommend for any weird use cases like this. Would gladly buy again!

Only linking up to gen1x4
Bought because it was advertised as PCIe gen3, but only is linking up at PCIe gen1 speeds.

Excellent construction quality, full x4 bandwidth
This adapter is remarkably well constructed (the cables have an outer sleeving similar to SATA cables, and are separated in the middle into 2 cables so you properly mount the pcb in the m.2 slot.I got full x4 bandwidth from it without issue. My new motherboard had only 1 x16 slot and some x1 slots. My avermedia 4k card will work in a x1 slot, but not at full bandwidth, only 1080p. After installing this i got full performance from the card.I specifically went with the R42SL model because in a standard motherboard you can seat it in the m2 slot and then do one 90 degree fold of the cable and it sits similarly oriented to other slots.I chose the 30cm cable length because i wanted this to actually sit below the motherboard. Basically it places it below the motherboard as if my motherboard had an extra slot on the bottom. My case has mounting brackets this low because it supports EATX even though i only have a standard ATX mobo mounted. So basically there are 2-3 empty brackets below my motherboard, perfect for placing this with an additional card mounted.

Out of two purchased %50 wont work
I have two of these connected to a PCIe x4 M.2 breakout board, one works sometimes. Not reliable enough for work use, hobby at best. It kind of sucks because the quality of the construction looks really well made.
