Inflatable World Globe Clear Inflate Earth Teacher aid Learning & Development

On my globe, Washington DC shows up closer to NYC than DC. But for little kids, it's great to have a globe that won't instantly be destroyed, and is even sometimes educational.I've been using it as their very first introduction about geography. I think the transparent nature of this globe actually helps gives the kids a sense the relative positions of the various continents. The lack of detail is just fine for kids just starting out (you could even spin it as a feature)One other minor downside, the kids all seem to like to sit on this globe. But it hasn't popped.... yet.

When this arrived, it was in packaging, which was undamaged and intact, but when I blew it up, there was a small slit, about 1/4" long in it, not at a seam, just a small cut. I put clear packing tape on it, and am using it. Tried to find number of seller, but couldn't, and it didn't cost much, so just using it. On the good side, it is a good sized globe, and my kids enjoy being able to hold it and look at it and find different places. I also like how there are many city names on it.

My daughter is just getting into the stage where she loves the Earth. This inflatable globe is a lot of fun for her. It has the countries labeled, unlike other similar globes. I can show her where different countries are, and when her attention span fades, we just kick it around the house. Great time! I only gave it four stars since it is a little smaller than I had hoped it would be.

Because of the seams, it does not blow up to be exactly round. It does allow a child studying geography to get a glimpse of the world map as it is on earth, rather than on a flat sheet of paper. The price is right.

I knew this would not be the best quality becausebof the price, but I am highly disappointed that the globe is not as pictured. When inflated it is not round like the photo shows, it buldges out at the seams. A funny shape! I don't like it!

the countries overlap at the seems causing the accuracy to go down significantly. I was using it for reference in a high quality sculpture that i have but over 100 hours into, so I am very annoyed with this. For educational purposes though, the children that it's meant for won't even begin to know the difference. Over all, bad for me, but good for those under the age of 8.

This ball lasted three years through two moves before it got a hole in it. Plastic is durable, but actual countries out of date. Belize wasn't even on there.

it's smaller than expected but overall the map is good and does have a smell to it that probably will go away
