This drive and all of our drives are professionally tested and cleaned on a DOD certified machine at Oem level. We do not use software for this process! Once they have passed our Quality control they are 100% in perfect working condition! We are always willing to upgrade shipping to a faster service if you pay the actual costs difference from our flat rate costs!

Good drive!
I am pleased with the product... the only issue I had was as soon as i received the product I contacted the manufacturer seagate to see if there was a default warranty on the product and they gave me the message: This product was originally sold as a part of a larger system. Please contact the system manufacturer or your place of purchase for warranty support.When I checked the Amazon side... I was told to check with the manufacturer.. (or I could have purchased extended warranty plan). I am only interested in the default warranty which I am unable to verify at this time.Hopefully I get a good run from this drive.

Great for storage
Great drive. Works well, huge space. I just needed it for storing larger files and for the price, it doesnt get any better.

The Seagate Constellation is a great drive. So far in four years (12 units installed in our equipment) none of the Constellations have failed. Barracuda units seem to fail in 3 to 5 years. It is a bit more noisy than a Barracuda, but not enough to matter in the typical PC.

As good as I hoped-Not so much
The drive arrived in excellent condition. It is a little louder than I was hoping, but typical Seagate. Drive works great so far and is fast.Drive failed after a few days, returned.
