Q: What's the difference between the 10, 20 and 30 developer? I'm going to use the 8rn strawberry blonde. Thanks!

There are many variables that go into selecting the correct volume of developer for your color formula. We recommend the following as a guideline when using Agebeautiful Hair Color: 10 volume if you want a tone of tone result or you are going darker. 20 volume for optimal gray coverage. 30 volume for the midshaft and ends of the hair if this is a virgin application (no previous color on the lengths of the hair). 40 volume when using the HL (high lift) series. ***REMEMBER artificial hair color CANNOT lighten hair that has been previously colored, you will need to use a lightener for that.

Q: What exactly does this hair color include in the box?

Just the hair color, no applicator. I have my own brush, mixing bowl, and developer (and Gloves) I do my own roots, and have all the supplies. I get good results without a shadowed root area, and it last longer. I get several uses out of one tube, since I just do roots (last 5 minutes you pull the color through rest of hair).

Q: I would like to know if the developer is included or have to purchase separately?

No just the tube of hair dye, you have to buy the developer separately, the small bottles of developer, which is what you need are always sold out, so they get you to pay out even more money for the larger bottles.

Q: I used 5G medium golden brown I want to go lighter. What do I use next?

If you want to keep the same shade, try using a higher developer, aka 30 or 40 volume instead of 20. Other wise, 6 g would be next full shade up in this brand. Haircolor goes from black ( a level 1) to 10 ( lightest blonde)
