Heath 18-Room Deluxe Purple Martin House with 2 Decoys – Durable Aluminum, Ventilated & Spacious

Martin House at lake side used for.I did not use your pole. Used 1 1/4" galv pipe. Surprised when erecting on pipe, the white plastic pole anchors are TAPERED. Had to grind out to get on. Also, directions indicate plastic anchors (3) are at bottom of each unit. WRONG! Only bottom unit, the 2 above need to be on top, otherwise they can't be tighten.Couldn't keep the unit together where screws required. Too small in width. I think they are a #10 or #12 and should be #14. I replaced them with self tapper #14 x 3/4". Top blew off 1st 20 mph wind. JunkLast, the plactic landing strips do not anchor very well & keep poping out. I set them in place with flex glue!

This Martin condo was a tee-total pain in ____ to assemble. The pieces are thin metal (aluminum?) with very sharp edges. The provided screws are TINY and there are LOTS of them.Assembling the roof says that it requires 2 people.I am very disappointed at how much very difficult assembly is required given how expensive this birdhouse is.Unless you've got alot of patience and an engineering degree, find a different martin house.

It's very complicated to put together and the instructions are pretty much worthless. Plan on spending at least two hours to assemble this monster. After it was assembled it's very flimsy and it's hard to clean out. The white perches are plastic and the aluminum actually bent in several places when we tried to secure the perches to the house itself.A little more effort on the part of the manufacturer and higher quality materials and this could have been a much much better birdhouse.

Sharp edges on the metal parts. I was so frustrated assembling this house and cuts and scrapes on my arms. Not happy with this purchase.

This item has many sharp edges and I was cut twice. In addition, you almost has to have an engineering degree to assemble, probably close to 200 plus parts. Definitely too much money for something you will have to spend days assembling. I attempted to assemble, but some of the parts did not properly align, making it difficult to assemble. After an hour plus of frustration, I decided it was not worth the hassle. Highly, I mean highly do not recommend buying this product.

Hard to find a telescoping pole for this birdhouse and way too many parts to put together.

Like I said I was told it was already assembled

I think it a great martin house, if they can solve the door stop problem, I like the martin decoys George
