Monte BeneSpicy Marinara Pasta Sauce - 24oz (Pack of 6) - Non GMO, Whole 30 Approved, Gluten Free - Glass Jars

We had this sauce on Eggplant and Chicken Parmesan around thanksgiving time at my parents house and we absolutely loved it. Perfect combination of flavors. We were excited when we found it on amazon, but was a little skeptical they could get us 6 of them in piece. We just received it them about 2 weeks after ordering and they came packaged in a huge box with a ton of packing peanuts and each individually wrapped in bubble wrap. I’m excited to make some more Parmesan dishes and definitely will be ordering these again.

Sauce that tastes like my mom's is priceless, and that is Monte Bene. This was my first time ordering from Amazon, they are no longer available at my local market... the jars were covered in sauce, I was afraid that one had opened or worse broken. They were all ok, but the labels are dirty, and one particularly soiled one, I opened. I guess Im making chiken parmesan for dinner. I don't think I will order through Amazon again.

I love this sauce. I bought a couple of jars at a health food store about 150 miles from home. When I went to their website, I found that the only places in Michigan who sold it were that store and one other more than 50 miles away. The best price I found was Amazon Prime. Even the company's website was higher. The texture is awesome. The sauce is thick with actual tomato chunks. It's not a strong sauce but can be bumped up if that's what you want. No added sugar was also a selling point for me.

Monte Bene Tomato Basil sauce is by far my favorite jarred tomato sauce. My guess is that the lack of added sugars, combined with the San Marzano tomatoes, makes this sauce tastier than most other sauces. There's almost a hint of Italy in this sauce. It comes the closest of any jarred sauce I've tried to the sauces in restaurants in northern Italy. I'm so glad Amazon started selling this sauce. It's a relief not to have to lug jars and jars of this stuff from Whole Foods to my car and then from my car to my house. It's also about 20% cheaper to buy through Amazon rather than Whole Foods.

The sauce is great! Unfortunately, the entire box smelled like tomatoes because it was not packed for traveling and one of the jars was broken inside.

I love this tomato sauce, i usually buy 12 at a time, it has a nice light fresh taste, 1 gm of sugar and excellent flavor. i wish the price were cheaper but since its my favorite sauce (aside from my own homemade) i wounldn't consider switching to any other brand.
