Taylor and Ng Natural Nonstick Wok Set, 14", Carbon Steel, Round Bottom

It’s a great wok and a great value with the included cover and round bottom stand. It’s a true carbon steal wok and although the wax was a bit sticky, it did come off just like any other carbon steel kitchen pan I’ve used.The wok was package very neatly. Only complain I would have which isn’t their fault, I wanted a flat bottom and they were all out. Overall great wok!

I purchased this product against my better judgement and it is not only one of the worst product but the worst seller customer service experience I've ever received:1) I cannot remove the protective coating on the wok even though I soaked the wok in hot water for 30 minute and try to scrub it off. I also tried to put the wok on hot stove with oil and then wash it 3 times, didn't work either.2) I also cannot season the wok since I tried to season it 5 times over an hour and it still didn't work. The wok has ZERO instruction on how to season it and is a terrible product to use3) The Wok doesn't sit evenly on my gas stove and it pivots every time I try to use it. I also tried to use the wok ring to steady it but it doesn't fit into a standard stove top, the whole thing is terribly designed4) The wooden handle part of the wok keeps moving, even after I screw the end part tight. Everytime I hold the wok, the wooden part moves and it's very dangerous when the wok is hot

This is my second wok, never should have gotten rid of the first one. This one is not as thick as the old one and I'm not sure I like the coating on the pan. Time will tell.

I have actually purchased TWO of these. The first one had a nice factory baked-on finish, but no flat bottom even though I thought I purchased a flat-bottomed wok. The second one had a flat bottom, but NO factory coating even though I thought I purchased one with a factory coating. Seasoning the second one may work, so far its been a pain in the ass and the seasoning hasn't gone well.Gees, why can't I get a flat bottomed wok with a factory finish?

The wok arrived in a very timely manner. Workmanship on the wok is very good. Hard to clean the protective film from wok per instructions.

This wok works great even though it's designed for a gas stove and I have a smooth top electric. I just have to watch that it doesn't slide. It's easy to clean and keep cured. I love not having to deal with teflon.

Seasoning the wok took only minutes before the first use. The finish handles soapy dishwater without rusting. The size is just right.
