Satisfied & would buy again
They feel weightless & not at all sturdy, but they were very inexpensive and next day delivery. Decent quality for the price, about what I’d expected. I did not have any issues there the color meets the barrel, mine are all as smooth as can be. I needed a one of the larger hooks right away but didn’t trust myself to go to a crafts store and only bring home the hook I needed. I’d buy these again if in the same kind of situation.

These are my FAVORITE crochet hooks
I have been looking for these particular crochet hooks for a couple of years. Initially there were a few sold on Amazon by a Japanese company with whom I had a very hard time communicating. I bought as many sizes as I could find on Amazon by this company, but then they stopped selling them. I looked everywhere for hooks like these. I could find nothing even close. Then, Bingo! here is a complete set of them on Amazon. YAY! The only downside is that they're made in China. Why couldn't some entrepreneurial American have made them? They are just cheap plastic, but they are just perfectly wonderful for making my chunky wool rugs and my fabric strip rugs. Make more! I love love love them!

Nice....but
I loved the colors and that may have been a factor to purchasing them. You can tell them apart quickly, when are with others in a container. However, I found that with the yarn that I was working with, the joint between the color and white plastic was causing the yarn to catch. It may not be that way with other types of yarn, but this type of acrylic yarn was having some difficulty. Also the needle wasn't as easy to hold as my medal ergonomic handle ones. So I sent them back.

Great hooks
These were exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight and easy to hold and use. Love the different sizes and colors.

Worked well with chunky yarn
The larger sizes worked well for me with chunky yarn. Nice pointy tip for easier insertion into loops. Did not experience any "catching" at the junction of the colored tip with the white handle as reported in other reviews with other similar brand.
