NZXT CB-LED20-OR 2-Metres Light Sensitivity Sleeved LED Kit (Orange)

I build a lot of high end computers and put lighting systems in all of them. It is a nice way to jazz up a computer build and just make it look hot. So far I have always used Cold Cathode lighting and most computers get two to three bulbs 12 inches long. I saw this LED sleeved kit and I just had to get one to try. My first test was done on a table top and I have attached a video for you to review just to get an impression of the product. The video was taped in a very bright room with two glass walls and you can still see that the LEDS are still very bright.This is a nice product and despite that cons I still gave it 5 stars as it creates a very nice effect inside the computer case. I will post a photo later on to show the effect of the lighting in the case.Pros* Long length of 2 meters or 78.7 inches* 24 LEDS* Bright blue LEDs* On/off switch* Three levels of brightness setting* Black sleeved cables that are nicely doneCons* Control board mounted to low on the case card slot cover which could allow it to short out components on some motherboards. On many motherboards it will interfere with components located on the back of the motherboard.* Power cable that is attached to the computers power supply is only 8 inches in length and may be too short in some computer builds to be able to adequately reach a power connector or allow the cables to be nicely hidden from view to make the build look clean.* Stick on cable mounts are easy to use and easy to fall off into the case. In my experience everything stuck on with this type of mount comes loose sooner or later. When a cable or a clip falls into a fan it can cause real problems and if it falls into a CPU cooling fan it can be serious. Consider a better method of attaching the cables where possible to eliminate potential problems. (Black cable ties where possible to hold the LED cable so it will not fall into critical areas.)+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I am sorry my video review would not post. This LED Light sleeve is great. I got it to match my  Thermaltake Thunderblade 120 mm 4 Led Case Fan 3 and 4 Pin AF0032 (Blue)  and my  Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B . With the lights on and the case closed it looks really great with the light reflecting off of the aluminum heat sinks on the RAM cards. It was really easy to install and works flawlessly. I love the fact that I can turn the lights off if I want to, but I do wish there was a flicker switch on it to make them flash or chase. I have no complaints about this item, and I would definitely recommend it to others. My friends that have seen it have all thought that it was awesome. I get a lot of compliments about them. When I first turn the system on after installing these, my wife even said "Wow, that is really pretty". It does require a spare PCI slot (it doesn't actually plug into the PCI just takes up a mount slot) and a Molex plug from your PSU so make sure you have a spare of both of these before purchasing. The bracket is pretty small though, so it will fit into MOST cases without restrictions. If you take pride in your custom rigs and want to show them off, this is definitely the item for you.

The only horizontal (i.e. normal) I/O slot where I could install this without it pushing against components on the motherboard was immediately below the graphics card. I was then worried about contacts on the card touching the graphics card, since it was very very close. I then realized my case (Cooler Master Scout 2 Advanced) has a vertically aligned I/O slot which worked well as it is located on the opposite side from the motherboard. I bought the 24 lights length, which is plenty of lights and the price seemed fair. The lights are bright, even on low, and they provide plenty of stick on attachment clips (about 20), I used twit ties when I could since I worried about the stick on failing after a while. The card itself was very dirty, so it makes me wonder about quality control, it must have been sitting out bare somewhere for a long time before it was packaged.All in all, it looks awesome, but I don't think I would recommend this to others. The car itself is very small, the design coulde easily be modified to move the card on the I/O slot farther away from the motherboard side.

I bought this for my CM Storm Scout case. I didn't have too much troulble installing it, although the width of the sticky pad clamps made it a little tricky to install the lights discretely in some parts-- still, I'm glad they included the sticky pads, because it made installation a lot less frustrating. The lights make my PC's insides look amazing when lit up, and I like that there's some controls for them on the back. You get an on/off switch and three brightness settings, and really I don't think I could ask for more than that.However, this is where the product lost a start for me-- while the product works fine now, there was a problem where the PCB for the controller was at an odd angle, and the solder points on it were not trimmed down well. I heard an awful grinding sound when I booted up my PC, and discovered it was colliding with a fan on my video card! I quicky removed it, trimmed down the solder points with some wire cutters, and bent the mounting plate into a safer angle using some pliers, then reinstalled.I have had no problems since then, and it has been pretty much perfect from that point on. However, I don't like the fact that it did not work correctly out of the box, so I can't give it 5 stars. After the fixes it's definitely a 5 star product, but I take off one star for the labor I had to put into fixing it.I'd still highly recommend it, but beware of the issue I mentioned. Make sure it's not going to be a problem before you install it, and if it looks like it might be, fix it!

Ich besitze das LED Sleeve Kit nun seit ca. 7. Monaten und nach schon 6. Monaten hatte die erste LED den geist aufgegeben und jetzt nach 7 die zweite. Beide LED's sind jeweils die, die nach dem Controller folgen. Mittlerweile blinkt auch schon eine andere LED die wahrscheinlich in bälde ebenfalls den geist aufgibt.Aufgrund der nicht wirklich langen zeit in der ich das LED Kit habe vergebe ich nur 3 Sterne und ich hoffe das ich damit ein Einzelfall bin da man für ein Markenprodukt doch mehr erwartet.

Jolie guirlande qui apporte un effet sympa dans une tour possédant une fenêtre. La longueur est suffisante pour bien faire le tour. Le système de fixation de la guirlande est bien pratique et permet de faire ce qu'on veux.Par contre pour le petit module a fixer sur un rail... Dommage l'alim avec ce connecteur... Du coup il y a un câble qui passe... Dommage de ne pas avoir prévu un fil fin et discret (et long) pour venir ce brancher dans une molex caché !! Bon certes, les plus bricoleurs y parviendrons sans trop de difficultés... Mais c'est dommage....Attention aussi, la carte (pour le réglage de l’intensité lumineuse et marche/arrêt) descend très bas contre la carte mère et j'ai du choisir un emplacement vide (tout en bas quoi) pour l'installer sans quoi elle touchais les composant de la carte mère !Hormis ces petits détails, j'en suis totalement ravis, ça fonctionne très bien et apporte du design a un objet qui est souvent caché !
