Need spare tubes with washers I bought this product and had no spare parts glass and tubes. If you want me to be a customer need the parts soon.

For how long can the engine run after it starts?

as long as it has fuel.with 90% isopropylic alcohol, it can run for about 7 min.with a small candle, about an hour, but carbon deposits will form on the glass.

How much of the assembly does one do oneself?

It comes fully assembled, but will almost certainly need to be lubricated before use. Putting a little 3-in-one oil on the moving parts and the piston made all the difference in the world! Not sure if this is the best oil or not, but it has worked well for us.
