Coleman Hooligan Backpacking Tent

Used this for the 1st time over the Mayday bank holiday weekend for motorcycle camping, it was very easy to put up and took less than ten minutes from taking out of the bag to having camp bed and sleeping bag in.It is very spacious (the foot print is around 1.8m x 2.5m approximately)with decent head room (about 1.5 m at its highest point) and ideal for 2.The porch is just about big enough for 2 crash helmets,boots and a backpack .It was quick and easy to dismantle and packs up small enough to strap to the bike .All in all very impressed with this tent and would highly recommend for weekend camping,2 season motorcycle touring and festivals.

Es excelente, tiene suficiente espacio para 2 adultos, las maletas un par de sillas portátiles y los sleeping bags. La probé durante un Rave (Poison Festival) de 4 días con mucha lluvia y no tuve ningún problema. El espacio que tiene al frente sirve para dejar los zapatos fuera del área de descanso; así no metí lodo. Y se ve genial. Compré también una linterna para camping y estacas de uso rudo así como un martillo de goma para facilitar el anclaje, el kit que me armé me resultó fantástico.

La casa de campaña me encantó. Los materiales son de mejor calidad que otras casas de campaña de la misma marca, el suelo siento es ligeramente más grueso. El tamaño es como para tres personas con equipo. Perfecta si la vas a llevar en auto, es demasiado pesada para llevarla en una mochila (5.7kg). Por el precio vale bastante la pena. El color en las fotos es como naranja pero realmente es como rojo quemado, increíble. Para colocar son 4 barras y como 20 estacas, poco practico si tienes prisa. Aún no la he sacado pero nunca me ha defraudado la marca.

just returned from week in the back country. 4 people (two full sized adults, two kids). Plenty of space. Not too heavy given the size. Rain fly worked really well and has full coverage.. Easy set up. Good vestibule and easy entrance from large zippered area. Good poles, lots of pegs. The vent system was a little confusing at first, but once understood it was great - holds a space open to vent the air and keep at a reasonable temp. The floor is made of tarp material. That's great for now - totally dry even during 3 monster rain storms. Wonder how that will hold up long term, but this was great.

This tent is okay. It is about 8' x 8' when laid out flat and relatively easy to put up. Would be a good size for two (2) adults plus a little bit of gear inside the tent and some other gear stored in the vestibule. This is a hot temperature/summer or one-season tent (better known as a fair-weather tent) as all four sides of the base tent (excluding the fly) are mesh from about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up to the top and there is a weirdly designed additional vent in the tent fly at the back which I did not use as it just seemed a bit "dumb/useless". The lack of fabric up the sides also impedes privacy as the door is also mesh (really needs that second fabric door). So, if you leave your vestibule flap door open, everything inside is more than clearly visible. Really not suitable for cooler or cold nights as when a breeze comes in, you can feel the drop in temperature immediately. So, do not purchase if you want to do three (3) season camping. Floor is tarp and waterproof as far as that goes. The zippered vestibule door is extremely low and I had to squat or scrabble along the ground (not good with damp or wet ground) sideways to get in. With a few minor design changes, this would be a great tent, which unfortunately it is not - it is just okay. Lent it to a family member who discarded the tent fly that comes with the package and used a fly from one of their old tents - one of the users is almost six feet tall and had to be a contortionist to get in otherwise.
