Expensive for a cheap plastic mirror and the light shines a blue purple. Not effective as a makeup mirror. Didn't send it back fast enough so I'm stuck with it.

Honest review: Plastic and needs AA batteries
This mirror is good enough to do the job. It is obviously made of plastic and has a darker shade of green color. It looks more like a toy but I like that the mirror came all set up in one piece. The picture makes it look metallic but I warn you that it is not. This mirror is also in need of 3 AA Batteries for lighting up. It's a good enough mirror for a dorm room but I still think the Conair brand mirrors beat this by a long shot in terms of being a real, quality make up mirror. The shipping was great and came quicker than I expected though. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.

useless light!
The one good thing, the mirror is a good one....nice and clear and sharp with just the right amount of magnification. The light is the reason for buying this mirror.....and it is beyond useless!! This is the second lighted mirror I have bought in 2 weeks.....the first one was so bright it was blinding!! Knew the price was too good to be true on this.......even for plastic. Guess I will keep searching!

Buy a better one
The light isn't bright at all. I kept it only bcause I needed one right away. Quality lower than I expected.

Don't even bother with the light. No batteries. No illumination when you do get batteries.
It's a mirror. I would have rated it higher, but the light on it doesn't illuminate anything. I wanted something that would help me see, not just look cool. In every other way it is exactly as described. Just don't expect to see your face better because it is lit well. You still have to take care of that another way. I am also annoyed that the description and the package I received clearly state that batteries are included, but they were not. I had to buy them.
