Both my toddlers got the flu while their dad was out of town. They had it for 8 days total and I took this religiously after a friend suggested it. I wish it weren't so expensive. However, in the case of trying to NOT get the flu while trying to take care of two sick toddlers full time, I would have paid quite a lot more. Good product, it was my first time using it, could have been happenstance that I didn't get the flu, but I'd say this didn't hurt my chances. I was literally in my house, holding, cuddling, wiping noses, bathing, ALL THE THINGS for my little flu children for 8 days... and I didn't get it, I didn't have the flu shot either. It's VERY tart/sour... but not terrible.

I’m pretty cynical about natural sleep aids because I have some serious insomnia issues and nothing ever works (including melatonin). I didn’t expect much from this but bought it on a whim thinking that a spray might be more effective. I couldn’t believe it but I actually had a decent night’s sleep. I also gave it to my husband and he has had the same success. We have both had deeper and more quality sleep with this. I bought it expecting it to either not work or make my insomnia worse (which is usually what happens) but it was surprisingly successful at improving sleep. I haven’t had to take Advil pm since starting this. The flavor is not bad either and I’m happy not to be taking another capsule or tablet. I hope Garden of Life keeps making this!

Contains Tapioca Fiber Syrup which causes a huge spike in blood sugar. The product label is misleading when it markets this as no sugar! Tapioca Fiber Syrup is actually worse than sugar when it comes to spiking blood sugar levels. My husband found out the hard way and I am furious at Garden of Life!

The syrup itself is a 4 or 5 star product. For people who don't like the flavor, just add it to water for kids or sparkling water for adults.What merits the 2 star review, however, is the nonsensical design for the spout. It is a design that I've never seen before (clearly, because it's awful) which is a short tube in the middle of the bottle opening, suspended by three spokes. I am not sure why anyone thought this was a good idea because, without fail, the syrup drizzles down the neck of the bottle, if not the whole length of the bottle and creates a huge mess every time. Obviously, this is a waste of an expensive product. It is very frustrating. Go with Nature's Way Sambacus. I've gotten their syrup before and I've never had an issue like this.
