Schneider Electric Square D HOME250SPA Homeline 50-Amp Spa Panel Pack of 1 HOME250SPA 1

I don't like the fact that Amazon.ca sells this product to Canadians. It does not have CSA certification, it does not have cUL certification and it does not have cULus certification all of which are acceptable in Canada. It does have UL certification which means for installation in the USA only!! The correct part number for Canadians is: CHOME250SPA. Please don't make the mistake of installing this and being surprised when an electrical inspector tells you it has to be replaced with a certified for use in Canada unit!!

*UPDATE* -- My tub was down for the year, based on timing with winter I just decided to leave the tub empty, but when i repaired the element and tried to turn the tub on, the breaker tripped immediately. After troubleshooting, found the breaker to be faulty. DON'T by this breaker, it's a piece of crap. Find a proper, common socket style (Square D, Siemens) breaker and panel.-- Placement of the socket is low inside the box which made it difficult to manipulate the 6/3 into position. Also didn't know the socket type. Was hoping it was the same as my other Square D so a could just swap it out, but it wasn't. Price was good though.

This replaced my 25 year old 40 Amp hot tub breaker that quit. Wasn't sure if ordering this from Amazon was the way to go but am I please I did it! I looked into just replacing the breaker since I already had a breaker box however just a new high quality breaker (exact same as old) would have been 4 times the cost. Good buy!

very good panel works great, great price.I am now doing an update on this panel I have had it for 2 years now have not had 1 issue with it works exactly as it is intended for..the hot tub I have now has a feature to test the breaker and the test tripped the breaker immediately the tech said it worked perfect. I am in canada had an electrician install it he never questioned anything on it said it is exactly what I need for the hottub...highly recommend this panel for your hot tub ...

It is not valid for use in Canada, my electrician refused to install it, I had to go out and buy one at a local store that was CSA approved. Thankfully the return window was still open so I could return it! Why do they even sell this product if it is not certified for Canadian installations.
