Seat Socks Purple

This seatcover is very interesting!! It's going to be very nice for me to keep clean, because it just easily slips right over the toilet seat. And it also stays in place nicely - it doesn't move around and look sloppy ... it looks nice!!I LOVE it's shade of purple ... it perfectly suits the colors in my apt!!So far I haven't laundered it and am hoping it doesn't fade or be the type material which has colors that "run" and dye other items in the wash. We'll see.

The color is too bright for the purple decor in my bathroom, but that's really my fault. For once, the color on the webpage was fairly accurate and it really belongs in a kid's bathroom. It's a neat idea though and fit perfectly over my toilet lid.

I use it for an unconventional purpose but it does the job.I purchased the Drive Medical Deluxe Elevated Raised Toilet Seat with Removable Padded Arms, also from Amazon. In order to use the raised seat you have to lift the regular toilet seat. While in use the toilet seat is always raised. I placed the seat sock over the raised part of the toilet seat 7 now you don't see the bottom of the raised toilet seat.This is the 2nd time I purchased this. I used it for the same purpose in my home for years, then I was washed out by Hurricane Sandy & lost my home & all its contents. When replacing things that were lost this was one of the first things on my 'wish list".

The color runs

How can somebody who has one of everything in his life in the color purple not love a bright purple spandex toilet seat cover. It looks like it could have been made from the leggings from the dancers in Olivia Newton-John's number one hit from 1980 "Physical." Why did it take 30 years for spandex to graduate from leggings to spanx to toilet seat covers. Oh ya, right, nobody WEARS spandex anymore so they had to find another use for it. And in my opinion my toilet wear all the stretch lycra it wants, proudly in purple.

I know people will think this is crazy but we needed some purple in the back bathroom for feng sui. This is the only thing that would fit and it works great.
