This coconut brush is exactly what I was looking for in a new toilet brush. I've had one for a year. We have a projectile pooper in the house, so every flush ends with a thorough cleaning with the brush and a weekly dose of bleach to kill the critters and whiten stains.The hook didn't stick to the wall, and the brush dripped. The cotton string frayed and fell somewhere, so we stood the brush in a ceramic kitchen utensil crock, where the brush developed a flat spot standing in the puddle. (plastic brushes do the same thing). The flat spot doesn't seem to affect cleaning, but I splurged on some 3M hooks and a foot of nylon rope so the brush hangs in the crock to drip-dry, which works great. That figured out, I ordered a new brush and expect it to last for years. This brush worked amazing the first few times it was used and has the perfect shape for getting under the rim and in the s bend area. I was planning on buying two more for our other bathrooms. Unfortunately, on only the fifth use the brush head broke out of the handle. The metal is either not embedded deeply enough down or not sealed well enough. Even though I properly dried the brush after each use, the wood was wet and soft where the metal wires came out, so obviously had been accumulating moisture with each use. I was not rough with the brush by any means, so I was quite disappointed.
