San JamarSaf-T-Grip Plastic Cutting Board with Safety Hook, 18" x 24" x 0.5", White

I bought one of these little boards years ago at a restaurant supply store, and always wished I had bought a second. It’s the perfect size for small jobs, like slicing a lemon or dicing a tomato, and I used it so much that it seemed it was always dirty when I needed it. So one day I decided to see if I could find something similar on Amazon, and was very happy to find the exact same one! So happy, in fact, that I bought two. It’s sturdy, the rubber pads keep it from slipping, it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up a bunch of room in the dishwasher. Perfect for my needs.

My order arrived within a few days, and very well packaged to prevent damage during it's storage as well as shipping. The box does indicate what's inside, if that matters to you. It did not, for me. For me, as a former nurse, the ability to avoid cross contamination, with easily identifiable labels for use (for others in the household) was of utmost importance. On the farm, I tend to cook for a lot of people and I have what you might call a mega-garden. A lot of food, and all at once.... that's the name of the game in my kitchen. Think in terms of making Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, but a whole lot more often. Cutting boards while cooking are always in short supply... and when you feel like you need to be an "over-achiever" every time you scrub one of these things... it's nice to know that you can do a normal scrub, dry, and move on to the next thing... or at the end of cooking... you can just rinse and pop it in the dishwasher. These are a nice size for handling large amounts of stuff at once. The grippers are also a major plus. The laminated chart with peel and stick icons for the intended use of each color is a marvelous addition. These things are heavy enough on their own, to let you know you're hanging onto something. I had intended to hang them from a hook on the wall... but the size and weight of them, I don't think I'd trust a wall, even with a stud. Another important aspect, for me at least... Is that they don't seem to be prone to cut marks from my blades at all. I get rid of many cutting boards for that reason alone. They truly seem, so far, to be able to stand the test of time, in my home that operates more like a catering business with a whole lot of canning thrown in the mix. I can honestly say I've been on Amazon since the beginning, and my location demands that nearly all of my shopping takes place on this website. I have purchased LOTS of stuff here, and everyone wants a review... I don't have the time for that. THIS product is one of my all time happiest finds on Amazon though... so I am taking the time to write a review, and don't even consider it a "waste of time."

O.M.G... These cutting boards are gorgeous! I needed to replace my green 12 year old Dexas cutting boards. I wanted solid green, not white with green rubber edges. White will show stains after a while, where colored boards will stay looking nice for a lot longer. The color of these are beautiful - think Shamrock shake - and really POP in my kitchen. They are designed with both cm and inches embossed on either side for the serious cook or baker in mind. They are sturdy on the counter, the rubber grips don't allow for the slightest movement. I purchased the 12 x 18 and the 9 x 12. They live on the counter in the placement shown in my photos so I needed them to be useful AND attractive. I often cut pizza on the larger board and needed it to be 12" wide. That was hard to find, in a color other than white. I love that these San Jamar Boards offer several colors. The 12 x 18 board is actually thicker than the smaller one. The board itself measures .5", where as the 9 x 12 measures .3". Then the grips add a bit of thickness. They are heavy duty, but not too heavy as to make them cumbersome in transporting them. I personally will not be putting them in my dishwasher. I will wash them in the sink as I did my last set. Pans, Steak/Carving Knives and Cutting Boards do not belong in the dishwasher! Will these eventually show cutting scars? Of course! It's a "cutting board". If it didn't allow for your knife to penetrate into the surface, you would be dulling your knives. Love these cutting boards - you will too.

I have used these cutting boards in my commercial kitchens for years! They are very durable, easy to clean and most importantly they don’t slide around when you are using them because of the rubber grips. Whenever somebody asks me which cutting board they should get I always suggest these. Besides using them in my commercial kitchens I also have them at home too! Honestly, when you find a good product why bother buying something else. I would recommend these cutting boards to everyone!

We bought this cutting board specifically for making and cutting pizza. We needed a surface larger than 16"x16" (the maximum size our pizza oven can hold.The board is said to be 1/2" thick; this thickness is only at the 4 corners where the grippy material is located. The board itself is 3/8" thick, so it's not as heavy as we thought. The size of the board we ordered makes it a hand-wash item that we will need to store away from our other cutting boards. We will likely store it atop the refrigerator, where the pizza peels are kept for the same reason. The corner hook will be handy, and won't get in the way. The board appears to be durable and well made, although a bit pricey.I think this was a good purchase, one we'll use quite a bit for our new pizza-making hobby.

This is a great size for our tea/coffee station in home office. It is easy to use, easy to clean, keeps knife scoring to a minimum, and due to its colour, is easy to locate.It has handy rulers built in as well, if you are measuring cheese sizes or something else for MasterChef consistency -- or to keep the kids from arguing about who got more on their panini.We use it primarily for fruit, lemon and lime slices, cukes, and small snack making in the office (third level of a townhouse). This is a replacement for another lost in the last move, and would buy it a third time as well.

If you need a small, no slip cutting board, buy this one.

La entrega fue a tiempo, cumplen con lo que se promueve. Esa marca de tablas para corte son muy durables, robustas y es la única que hasta ahora he encontrado que es antiderrapante. Lo malo con el proveedor es que NO emiten factura. Fue un problema poder explicar que en México es importante deducir algunas compras y que requerimos de preferencia una factura fiscal. Nunca pudieron entenderme. Si requieres factura, será un problema no resuelto.

Nice large cutting surface and good grip with the feet make this cutting board great to use.Finger cut out makes it especially handy to carry and retrieve from cubby.

La grandeur est très pratique pour moi, je l’utilise pas mal à tous les jours. Se lave bien au lave-vaisselle et aucun signe d’usure jusqu’à date.
