A decent day-to-day green tea, good enjoyed hot or cold
Ceylon black tea is obviously known. loved and drunk worldwide so I was keen to try a green tea from Sri Lanka. This box of 100 teabags is made up of four packs of 25 bags, each pack individually sealed for freshness. When I opened the first pack there was a definite scent of fresh green tea, it was very strong and pleasant!I allowed the tea to brew in the pot for five minutes and found that that was the optimal time for it to steep: long enough to allow flavour to infuse but not so long that the tea takes on too much bitterness. The teabags are well made and strong enough: none had burst during transport. The tea itself is decent, if not spectacular. It is a good go-to tea. I have found that brewing a pot and then chilling the tea, enjoying the result as a lovely iced green tea with a dash of sweetener, is the best way to bring out the flavour of this particular tea: the flavours are more pronounced cold than when the tea is drunk hot. As a good day-to-day tea this is a great choice.

Delicious
Really splendid tea, I buy the loose leaf as well which is the nicest tea I’ve tasted for a long time. Very good value. The teabags are packed in 20’s so they keep their freshness.I can’t recommend this brand enough

Tastes nice, but not significantly different from brand leaders for the extra outlay
I exclusively drink green tea, so I’m always in the look-out for different variants, so was pleased to be offered these from Spriluxe to review. The tea comes in a nice,y branded box wrapped in plastic as are all teas nowadays. I was pleased to see when opening the box that they came in four separate foil wrapped bags, to ensure freshness once opened. The bags themselves are rectangular with individual strings, which is always a nice to have, and the string didn’t fall off in use, which is always good! These tea bags make a nice strong green tea (I’m not keen in the more fragrant types of green tea), perhaps even a little too strong. I usually leave my green tea tea bag in situ to get the most benefits from drinking green tea, but I found when I did this with these bags it became a bit bitter at the end. So now I don’t do that, I leave in for a short period and then remove and this gives me a nice mild and tasty green tea drink with a nice depth of taste. You may even be able to make two cups from one tea bag, depending on how strong you like your tea. You do get a small amount of residual tea at the bottom of the cup after drinking. So overall these bags nice a nice cup of green tea, but no better than many other mainstream ones on the market, such as Twinings or even Tetley. I like that these tea bags come direct from source, but don’t feel that the 100% Ceylon leaves makes a significant enough difference for the extra outlay. But they do taste nice, and even passed my partner’s green tea test, and that’s something. So nice, but not nice enough for me to keep buying at the current or price point.

No
Nicely presented but there's no flavour. I chose this because ceylon is known as one of the fuller bodied flavour teas. However in the green form you obviously don't get the same flavour. A real shame.

ok flavour
tired many herbal teas from different brans in UK and Japan this sadly didn't work for us when it came to flavour. Although a friend liked it£7.99 at the time of this review.

Doesn't get bitter if brewed too long. Thumbs up from me.
I like this premium quality Ceylon green tea.I have a box with 4 separate sealed foil silver packages with 25 single tea bags in each.It is great idea that once box is opened I could open only one bag and the remaining three are still sealed for extra freshness. My box arrived without the little red ribbon, but of course it doesn't affect the taste of the tea, just the presentation.I like teas and the green one is the one I drink most often. It is not a leaf tea, but tastes good, like a good quality green tea. After I brewed it I didn't remove the tea bag from my cup and despite leaving it there the tea wasn't bitter at all.It has very pleasant, characteristic for a green tea flavour but mild and without bitterness, just how I like it.The strings are attached well to the bags but not glued to it like in some other teas, so I didn't have to worry that I could make a hole in the bag trying to separate the string from it.The bag looks of a good quality and thickness and keeps the grinded tea leaves inside well. The best before date is long - I've ordered it in June 2021 and it should be used by December 2022.Lovely tea, tastes very nice, reasonably priced (£7.99 for 100 single tea bags), so I would happily recommend it.

Fancy looking tea but smells strange
Comes in a fancy and attractive looking gift box with a red ribbon. Perfect for a tea lover as a gift. The tea takes 5-10 minutes to fully brew and I like to taste of it overall. It has a different smell off it and it’s quite off putting for me personally. You get a lot of tea for the price overall and it justifies the price of this. I like it overall but the smell can be off putting.

Nice Clean Flavour
I got the box of 100 tea bags as I find them more convenient than loose tea. They come in separate foil sealed bags so you don't have all 100 open and deteriorating together. The colour is light and and flavour is mild and fresh. It's a clean tasting tea but is a little different from the far-east ones I've been used to drinking.
