I just wish I had ordered a little bit wider one. That being said fairly easy to install if you ever installed this type of gasket on a canopy before you know lifting a canopy and replacing the gaskets underneath are not always that easy usually need two people to do it. But that being said I installed it and put the canopy back down and it seems to be sealed quite nicely it was just a about foot too long or so which is perfect I'd rather have it too long then too short. It's a little thicker than the original one so it sits a little higher off the truck but over time that's perfect as these things do relax and squish out a little I'll be ordering this type of gasket again in the future and maybe a little wider but for now was 100% value for the money and very durable and heavy duty well worth the price well worth the hassle of installing it well worth my time and the quality seems to be quite quite well. Peel and stick as you go and a little trimming around the corners as needed but I did not cut corners I notched corners to make it fit with A continuous gasket probably a closer description would be clipping a little v in it to bend around the corner and the outer edge is still intact.

For me, worked perfect. I see several comments that it makes the cap set higher than some like. Mid rise Leer, carpeted, roof rack, probably 250lbs. Sets perfect.See comments the adhesive isn’t good. Wire brushed the old seal off the cap, wiped the dust off. No problem sticking.I have zero complaints.

Excellent adhesion (after wiping down surface with acetone) and made of quality rubber. Comparable to auto door seals.Used it on my Tacoma ,around my tailgate keep dust out of my truck bed.Also cut lengthwise and added it to stop the wind noise on my doors.Excellent product!!

Just scrape the old seal off and use 91% isoprophic alcohol to clean the surface before installing, it's sticks on very strong and seals just as well. Worked perfect.

You really have to clean the area you are adhering it to. Also heat it up. I had trouble getting it to stick initially. But now it’s stuck it does seal well and it’s sturdy rubber

People keep talking about the adhesive on the back of the seal, but I had absolutely zero issues with mine. Actually, I wanted to move it a little to get it exactly right, and I was worried I may have messed up the adhesive by removing it because it had stuck so hard the first time... It moved and did well, but get it exactly where you want it the first time, or you may regret it... I did make sure to clean my truck cap really well prior to installation. I scraped another seal off with a razor and sprayed some cleaner over it, wiped it down, and made sure it was completely dry before installing... I'm thinking maybe that's why people say theirs isn't sticking well, but I can't speak for them. I can't speak to the seal leaking, cause I haven't used it for too long. If it leaks, though, I'll let you know here and change my rating as long as I remember. All in all, it was a good purchase.
