CLIFFHANGER! CLIFFHANGER!
This book snagged me from the very beginning. The humor was laugh out loud and the story was well written, but...I did not see any mention of it being a major cliffhanger so when the book suddenly ended I was ticked. I never read cliffhangers until I have all parts to the story. By the time the next book comes out I will have to reread this as I read so many books I never remember what they are about unless I do. I would definitely recommend this but only after the sequel(s) are out.

Total cliffhanger and story doesn't match summary
Furious that this is a cliffhanger - every plot point is left up in the air. I usually check out books pretty well to make sure I am not getting duped. I hate, hate, hate when authors do this - there is no indication in theSummary that this is just part one - and to top it off the summary doesn't really match the book - they don't decide to be each other's date to the wedding - George begs her to go as moral support. To make matters even worse, I paid for this book and now it is in Kindle Unlimited - would really like my money back.

Laney, Kade & George
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - This book was just ok & the cliffhanger didn't help. There is nothing indicating that this is a series until I finished reading and I hit the major cliffhanger & the announcement of book #2. Laney writes a blog about anti-romance, purposely or maybe subconsciously picking men who won't be around for the long haul but serve her blog well with crazy, funny dating stories. The guy she dates in the beginning actually leaves her with a lingering problem - ewwww, gross! I'm sure it happens a lot when a woman like Laney is sleeping around. Laney is now single & looking for her next blog victim but Kade, her hot musician neighbor with a heart of gold, surprises her by hitting her up first. Kade is a sweet surprise except the many ghosts he has in his closet. He also can go all night long - really? Their amazing night ends in heartbreak & Laney turns to her model-perfect best friend George & falls instantly into his arms. WTH! This was a love triangle that I didn't see coming & didn't want & it certainly does endear Laney to me. Makes her seem like a flighty skank who can't figure out what she wants in a man & can't seem to keep her legs closed either. In the end her blog is exploding, Kade comes running to her rescue, & George is wrapped up in his ex's wedding. I have to admit I'll read book #2 because I adore this author - I just hope I'm not frustrated with Laney like I was in this book.

A screwed up girl that we can all relate to
Anti-Romance is just that ... not a romance. Actually, it's so much more than that. This is a story about a girl that is completely screwed up and as a result of her screwed up-ness she's made some really poor choices in the men department. Actually, I think her picker is 100% broken.Laney Hill has had a bad run with boyfriends and her most recent may take the cake as the worst of them all. When she leans on her best friend George you see that Laney doesn't really let anyone in ... except George. Her best friend for years, George knows and gets Laney in more ways that anyone else ever has. When Laney meets Kade, it's not only awkward but...well horribly awkward! Then they spend time together. You can feel the connection immediately and will find yourself rooting for Kade to make his way in to Laney's world. And her heart. When the ex and his crap hit the crap fan, Laney is faced with more than a broken heart and an itchy nether region.Leaving us with a cliffy at just the right moment is just like Cassia Leo and I, for one, love it!! I can't wait to see what happens to Laney, George, and Kade.

Warning. Cliffhanger ahead...
Warning-the story ended at 13% with a ginormous cliffhanger. If you paid for the book, you got ripped off. It's unfinished and there was no prior warning. It's also two years after this was released. The rest of the book just looked like excerpts. Why bother. The character Laney might be likable if she wasn't such a hypocrite and floozy. She's guilty of enTRAMPment, the way she sleeps around and then writes about the men on her anti-romance blog. She can't even keep her hands off her good friends. With her huge lack of redeeming qualities, just a few paragraphs can solidly end the story. Kade finds out she screwed George not long after their last conversation, he dumps her and leaves London. Boom! Delaney gets what she deserves. No. Even better, she and Rick deserve each other. They can spit and cat fight into their golden years or until they kill each other. Who cares anyway.

Falls Flat
This was my first Cassia Leo book and I went into it with high hopes. I had heard great things about this author and was looking forward to finally reading something from her. However, this may have not been the book for me.Laney Hill is somewhat of a conwoman, but not in the way you think. She swindles men into relationships for future stories on her blog. She goes into these relationships with the intention of them failing so she can write about how horrible love and romance are. That right there already didn't sit with me. It's one thing to write a blog about dating, it's another to seek out men strictly for the end game failure. Throughout the book she claims her lack of romance stems from her daddy issues but yet, does nothing to counteract that. Just accepts that she's messed up and continues using guys. Now, don't get me wrong, some of these guys deserve to be called out on their exploits, but at the same time, what happens at the end wasn't that much of a shocker.Anyway, this is also a love triangle story. Laney hooks up with her neighbor - even after he knows what she does for a living. She feels this one is different because he's getting to know the real her. Aside from neighbor boy, she also travels to London with her best friend, George. It's here that Laney gets so wrapped up in her lies and issues that, surprise, everything falls apart.I laughed at some of the jokes, but most were over the top. And a lot of this book felt forced and rushed. Not sure if I will continue this story, but I will check out other works from this author. The writing wasn't so much the issue as the story.

Ripped off !!
I have read other books by this author and liked them. However 40% into the book it ends and then launched into a previous book that I've already read. I'm sorry the story was good but I didn't expect to pay full price for less than half a book. I wish some of the other reviews had highlighted this as the next part is due in May for more money. I understand this is not the only author doing this and trust me I won't be buying any other books, that are not honest in the first place. If knew in advance different story as I have read books that are genuinely sold as numerous parts to a story.Beware authors do not underestimate your readers, you will sell less books and lose fans of your work.

A blessing in disguise.
Anti romance finished at 13%, the next page advertises the sequel "Pro-love", and then we get five, apparently bestselling bonus stories. This isn't terrible, I wouldn't mind it- were it not for the fact that Anti-Romance didn't actually finish. There was a cliff hanger, not a huge one and not enough to have me read the second book. But that's my opinion, I'll let you decide for yourself: Laney is a young woman with daddy issues, who doesn't believe in love. She's cynical, and spends her days writing a blog to prove that romance doesn't exist. With the guys she meets, her life's work couldn't be easier. That's until, she suffers a huge heartbreak which has her falling into the arms of her neighbour, Kade. He's hot, and charming and has her thinking that her blog might be nearing its end- this is within minutes of their first date. Talk about a whirlwind romance! Wait, I thought she didn't believe in romance? Ugh-who knows, or cares? You see, Laney Hill is a self-absorbed idiot, she strings men around and then writes about them when the relationship ends. A Taylor Swift copy-cat? Believe me, I'd say the same were she a male character. And I have nothing against Taylor, her music is good- but Laney is not Taylor. And why would she go out of her way to prove to the world that romance is dead- if she believes it, so be it. But, she's obviously unstable- I have no idea what she believes by the end. Anyway, on with the story, she has a bunch of friends who care for her- her best friend, George, is a hell of a man. He declared his undying love for her- and informed her that he had been in love with her for over two years. She gets mad, says he's deceived her- he tells her it was because he was afraid of her and the loss of their friendship. Who wouldn't be afraid? Here is a woman, who kills relationships just so she has something to write about. Or, it seems that way.Let's not forget to mention that Kade is still in the picture, he's the hot rock-star musician, she goes on a date with him- has fun- and, shortly after she sets off to London with George (the only guy in the book who claimed he loved her). So what does she do with them? Duh- she strings them along, without the other knowing of course (she has become quite the expert). This was rich coming from the woman who had hated on her ex for having been married-or was it for not having told her he was married? I just can't tolerate cheating.So...I will not be reading this sequel, though from the title I'm guessing she'll find love. I'm not sure how I feel about that. In some ways, this cliff-hanger book was a blessing in disguise: I can create my own end: Laney realises the only guy who was right for her is her cheating ex, Kade moves on, and George finds himself with a woman who deserves him. The end.Needless to say, I will not be reading the bonus stories. I imagine the main characters will be awful. But here are the titles:Forever Ours; Relentless; Pieces of You; Parallel Spirits; The Way We Fall

Misleadingly short
I wasn't aware when I started reading that this was in fact only a short novella. Just as I was getting to grips with the various threads, with my kindle only showing 13% through the book, it came crashing to a halt with a massive cliffhanger!Be prepared for lots of sex with at least three different men. This is a tangled web.I would have preferred the full story in one book.

Not the complete story!
Good story BUT this is only part one. It doesn't say anywhere on Amazon that this is a multi-part story, and I don't mind reading multi-part novels but I do like to know in advance so that I can be prepared for the additional expense. I also don't really like reading a multi-part story if the subsequent parts haven't been released yet. This is a very quick and easy read (took a couple of evenings) and I did enjoy the characters and plot, I was just disappointed that it ended so abruptly and without warning and the next book isn't yet available. It's worth reading but it's very short so I would recommend waiting until all parts have been released.

Would have liked more
I did enjoy this book, there’s the whole best friends to could be more?? A lot of the book is quite humorous, but I was disappointed that the book ended so quickly when my kindle told me there was still half a book to go. I’m not sure if ill carry on with the series but thumbs up to the pretty cover!
