I would recommend, it's not a knock off and it is takara tomy, the launcher is also takra tomy

Good, but string launcher lasted 1 month
The kids loved it and was exactly what they wanted. Actually bought this product specifically for the string launcher. The string launcher is really neat. However, it busted after a month of having it. The internal mechanism popped a piece, which ultimately prevented proper use. I opened it up to see if I could fix it but the internal pieces are very fragile/weak.

My 11 year son it’s one of his best ones. Practically wins every battle. Had it for about a month now and he plays with it daily and still in perfect condition
