This is a very high quality ball that's soft on the wrists and arms if you're hitting it hard. It's definitely a pool toy, not a real volleyball, but the size is very comparable to the real deal, and it's more fun than the hard, leathery volleyballs you typically see.

We play volleyball at home regularly between March and November, as my daughters play in two leagues and go to volleyball camp in the summer. This is my favorite ball that we’ve ever owned.
