Polarized Clip-on Flip Up Rimless Sunglasses for Prescription Glasses with UV Protection - Extra Large Lens

I have tried many clip on style sunglasses and these are by far my favorite. They are light weight yet sturdy. Easily clip on and off my glasses but stay securely on once attached. Visual acuity is good and the tinting is perfect for me. The attachment doesn't block my vision. They do look a bit funny and the clamping and release mechanism is a visible protrusion above the bridge of your glasses that people will notice and might look a bit nerdy, but I have always been a function over form guy so who cares? One slight issue is the little soft rubber/silicone sleeves that cushion the clamp points have a tendency to fall off and get lost over time.

I have used these several months for driving. Brown lenses cut down glare like grey lenses, but I think brown provides better contrast between objects that helps when driving. For that reason, I think they are better for driving at dusk and dawn when it is still bright outside, but some glare protection is needed when the sun is low on the horizon. I have used them while driving in bright sunlit snow without any problems, as well. These are easy top put on without taking off my glasses, and the clip holds them secure without scratching my lenses. The clip is only in the corner of my vision and is not a distraction to me, although some may find it takes getting used to. These are a very good alternative to paying $130 dollars for magnetic attachments or buying prescription sunglasses. Photos show what they look like on my glasses and I included a photo of the yellow lenses so you can see how they fit my glasses.

****One year later - they are still my go to clip ons (vs sunglasses). Clarity is superb with these polarized lenses. I've rejected all stigmas associated with wearing clip ons at my age because these are so good. My kids stepped on both my pairs (one for each car) so i have to re-order.Super clear, high contrast brown lens.The visor clip seems like they would scratch the lens but it specifically says scratch resistant so, so far so good. The lens is thin and may appear flimsy because but that quality general what makes it shatter resistant. Only time will tell.One of my lenses came with a small dimple in the lens and looks like a flaw in the manufacturing but I don't notice it while using.

Only problem is that they do not fit on my prescription glasses for driving as the plastic frames are bigger.This product fits very well on my Walgreens readers!

I finally had a chance to try these out on a sunny day. First of all, they are just a little bit bigger than my lenses, so they aren't terribly obvious, and hinge and clip assembly don't dominate my face. I have transition lenses, so I wasn't sure how well these would work. I do have a little bit of problem reading the GPS, but they easily flip up and down, so no problem there.I had a previous pair of polycarbonate lenses, and their optical quality wasn't great. I didn't care until I got glasses with better optical qualities, and the old clip-ons were no longer acceptable. The optical quality of these clip-ons is on a par with my new glasses. Things are about as sharp with them on, as with out.I have transition lenses in my glasses, and it doesn't seem like these shades are doing much, until I flip them up, and it's really bright. With them down, I see clearly, and the light isn't overpowering. You Do Not Want To Wear These At Night! but they are great during the day.The tint is brown, which seems to be neutral, so colors don't change when I put them on.

Cheap, bends, the right lens sits farther way from the glasses than the left, and the glare is horrifying. i used these to for walks and the reflections off of the glasses lenses is so apparent they're useless. Needs glare reduction lenses bigtime. If you use these in a car where the sunlight doesn't hit your glasses directly (shaded by the roof of the car) I'm sure it works fine, but don't use them for things like hiking.

This is my second time to buy this clip on. I lost my first one. My husband wears the darker version. I prefer the brown. So handy and indestructible, as far as I can tell. I just slide it into a pocket in my purse. This one came with a case which I'm using but I know it's unnecessary. Oh and I found my old one. It fell between the passenger seat and door of my car. Still good as new.

These are very good from what I have seen so far my only issue is that the depth of the lens is not more
