Liquitex MATTE GEL MEDIUM 16OZ

Ich habe zuvor ein anderes Gel Medium gekauft, war aber sehr unzufrieden damit. Habe also in den sauren Apfel gebissen und mir das Gel von Liquitex gekauft. Ich habe es nicht bereut! Im Vergleich lässt es sich sehr gut verarbeiten, es ist weder zu zäh, noch zu dünnflüssig - dabei bleibe ich. Großes Kriterium war hier auch, ob die Dose gut aufgeht und sich leicht wieder verschließen lässt (das andere Gel war diesbezüglich eine Katastrophe) - auch in dieser Hinsicht alles gut.

Lo he comprado para transferir imágenes a madera. Tiene que ser con impresión láser. Comparado con otro producto comprado previamente, este es de mucha más calidad, las imágenes se transfieren perfectamente y no deja residuos. Sin duda, un producto de calidad, y lo volvería a comprar.

I found this product at our local art supply store for about the same price but bought it online through Amazon. It's a soft textured medium that helps as an adhesive or a texturizer for paintings. What I like about it is when I do watercolor collages using imported hand made paper from Thailand, I can get some very fascinating and interesting textures which I implement with paint as well. This liquitex product can water down if you need it to be thinner. However it is not a thick medium of which liquitex also has that. You can't make it any thicker than it is. I think the price is too high. It's not that difficult of a mix of ingredients and they charge high prices because they can get away with it. However a little goes a long way. I've made several 9x12 paintings with paper collage on paper and canvas and I haven't dipped into too much of this medium. It dries invisible and clear and that's a very good thing when you don't want a medium to interfere with the color of your artwork. It's a great adhesive for the collage paper without being noticed. Liquitex has a good reputation for being a reliable product source for blendable mediums such as this.
