Good quality for the price, very versatile.
Very good quality for the price. Assembly is very straight forward if you first lay out all the pieces and get it clear in your head what goes where. I do enjoy puzzles so this kind of assembly instructions makes sense to me. I marvel at the engineering that goes into these type of "build it yourself" items. For the most part there really is only 1 way to put it together and you really do only need to supply the screwdriver. If you have ever put together furniture from IKEA, you will know what I'm speaking about. I am very pleased with the look and feel of it. While it is particle board underneath the very appealing white laminate finish, the hardware used is high quality and once put together it feels very durable. I believe this utility cart will give me years of use increasing the work space in my kitchen. It easily rolls out of the way for storage and holds all those large clunky kitchen items that I rarely use (e.g. Kitchen Aid mixer, blender, rolling pin, etc). I think it will also be useful

Nice piece, minor flaws & sturdiness is ok, but "depends"
Some reviews said it was sturdy, others said it was wobbly, but most liked it, and it looked attractive and right-sized for my kitchen, so I went for it. Turns out both were right, it depends on the context. It's generally sturdy *except* for a small (and fixable) amount of side-to-side sway. It's sturdy both front-to-back and vertically, but if the bottom is fixed and you push on the side it will give and feels a little wobbly. The side-to-side wobble becomes more noticeable if the wheels are securely locked or removed, since the bottom won't move at all and the top will respond to pressure to either side. Mine is in a corner, so even with the wheels locked it's fine. For some people this is not a problem, even if they roll it around, it depends on how you use it. As long as you don't push it sideways with the wheels locked it's ok. And the side-to-side wobble can be easily fixed if you don't like it and are handy ... see next paragraph. Most furniture of this sort uses a rigid back panel to prevent side-to-side swaying into a parallelogram shape. The back panel for this cart is two separate pieces that slide into place, with a small amount of extra space, so they don't make the back completely rigid. Some 1/4" plywood or thinner masonite or similar can fix this without increasing the size of the cart, since the two back panels are indented about 1/4". It needs to have enough vertical dimension to prevent the parallelogram shape. Wood could be fastened to either the inside or outside back, either way would work. Other comments: odor: There is some odor, as another reviewer noted, very noticeable to me when opening the doors (I'm sensitive to this). I've had it about 6-7 weeks and the odor is diminished though not completely gone yet. The manufacturer claims it conforms to good standards for formaldehyde emission (a potential problem with most manufactured wood products). I was prepared to seal unfinished edges but didn't need to. As I recall, pretty much everywhere including edges were already sealed with the white finish, except for holes needed for assembly. That was good, and supports their claim, also saving me some time, and presumably the smell is "just" the paint. I'd prefer no smell at all, but I didn't need to open and close it often for the first few weeks so it's been ok, and it's better now, plus I don't stick my head in it and inhale when I open it :-). Another minor, easily fixed flaw was with the drawer. After assembly I'd try to open the drawer, and one side would come out first, making it cockeyed and a little funky to open. It worked but I didn't like it. Happily I fixed this quickly and easily with some shims under the front ends of the metal glides, to reduce the opening width and eliminate slack, preventing side-to-side motion of the front of the drawer. I used small pieces of paperboard from the back of lined pads to fill the extra space, and now the drawer works perfectly, and the tiny paperboard shims can't be seen so it looks no different and works well. All in all this was a good purchase, and I'd recommend it with the above caveats. It was $150 when I purchased (Amazon prices can change a lot!) which was acceptable. It's given me a bit of storage and counter top in my small kitchen and overall fits and works well in my kitchen.

Great rolling island
Exactly what I needed. Compact size with great storage. The drop leaf is really nice and adds a lot of extra counter top area. Wheels seem very sturdy and they roll very smoothly. I found it really easy to put together. The back of the cabinet is a little flimsy, but I donโt think itโs going to matter. The top is thick and heavier than the rest of the components, so it seems like it will hold up well. The rest of the components are pressed board, but for the price it all seems sturdy enough. It took me 4 hours to put together but I wasnโt in a hurry. I left off the paper towel holder on purpose. The directions are mostly just diagrams but I found them easy to follow. The only tool you need is a screwdriver, but there are a lot of parts so an electric screwdriver is a good idea.

Perfect for small spaces
This was a perfect fit for my small kitchen, was easy to put together and pretty sturdy. Has wheels so you can move it around or lock it in to keep it in place. I like the side storage and the drawer works well as a bread drawer. The inside is deep enough to fit plenty of stuff. Good price

Well made and very nice looking. Room below to store a few things. No trouble with opening or closing drawer or cupboard. Took 3 hours to assemble but well worth it. Happy with purchase

Great!
Iโm shocked at how sturdy and nice this turned out for the price. Putting it together was time consuming but not at all hard. I highly recommend!

Need tools and some time.
Setting it up was kind of a pain in the bottom. You for sure need a drill. Took me a few hours and a little help from someone else to get it together. The cabinet doors take a bit of teamwork to get them level, otherwise they rub on the drawer and open it when you open the cabinet. The wood top is pretty but you can feel that it doesn't have a finish/sealant or protective coat on it. You need to seal it yourself. Be warned, if you don't seal it you will get rings and dings from cups and junk on it. I didn't use the little shelf but I did put the towel bar on and it's quite nice, doesn't stick out much but it can't be used as a handle to wheel the cart around. It's not strong enough for that. Otherwise it's really nice looking. It's great storage, I love wheeling it to move it, and its a nice comfortable hight. It's a worthwhile buy for anyone that needs some versatile storage or something that looks fancy for cheap.
