Small, extremely sharp, easy to trim smallest to 1/4 inch branches. Just bought another,
June 8, 22020 As promised, I bought another after having spent all of Saturday and Sunday pruning lemon trees, a tangelo, and a 30x60 stretch of geraniums, all of which sustained damage from wind storms for three days.June 2, 2020 I've had these pruner for five + months, and I love it even more than before. Extremely comfortable, the perfect length, and still quite sharp. Although I recommended gloves in the first review, they are not necessary EXCEPT with lemon trees which have two-inch thorns! I spray the blades with WD40 every other time I use them, or every time if the stems have sap. I highly recommend them, and am about to buy another pair for the back patio...***I love this compact trimming pruner! I've had many over the years, but this is by far the most comfortable and easiest to use. We have two patios with many flowering plants (including large fountain grasses), two trees, and several bushes and, come spring, they all need pruning. Several need precision trimming so that growth will be shaped. Though I have a pointed pruner, I also wanted one that was capable of cutting through old growth branches. This was my choice, and it performs beautifully. Nicely weighted, it fits my hand perfectly. It's very comfortable even with jobs that take a couple of hours. This will take place of two Wilkinson pruners that I had for 50 years! These are no longer manufactured and that was a blessing in disguise: I never would have discovered MLTOOLS Ultra Sharp 6.5 inch Compact Trimming Bypass Pruners. As comfortable as these are, I do advise wearing gloves for the more tedious trimming. And, when done, I highly recommend rubbing the blades with sewing machine oil or WD40.

Amazing Quality.
I am a 78 year old picky skeptic. I am usually disappointed to find some fault or defect in tools, even in the best ones. I can live with that. These pruners, to me, are as about as perfect as they can be. Slightly smaller than the usual bypass pruner, they fit my larger hands like they were molded there. The fit and finish is excellent. The manufacturer has obviously spent extra time on detail, which hardly ever happens these days. The cutting action has just the proper spring-back to allow quick cutting without fatigue. One of the best parts, to me, is the blade lock. This is absolutely the best. Easy access, very smooth operation, and looks to be sturdy and and made to last. Going to buy a spare while they are still around. You will really like these.

Comfortable grip and sharp blades
These small bypass pruners are great. I use them to trim back larger succulents like jade and dwarf jades. The shape and size allow for some oomph for cutting thicker stems and branches, but with accuracy.

Excellent medium sized pocket pruner
Totally satisfied. This is extremely well made and very ergonomic. This is what I would call a slightly bigger pocket pruner. For me it is just right. Fits in the pocket and can handle tough, medium sized prune jobs. I highly recommend this product!!!

Fits nice in hand, and cuts very well!
Works very nice for cutting flower stems, and is sharp and easy to use.

weak handle.
Good cutting blade but weak pot metal frame (handle). Was not attempting to cut anything thick- these are only good for light duty cutting. Certainly not "heavy duty".
