Part Of A Well Thought Out Irrigation System
Please see my review of the Hydrawise 12-zone irrigation controller for more information about the complete system.Once installed in front of your valves it's a simple two wire connection to the Hydrawise controller to get it up and running. After that a variety of water-usage reports are available such as: total water used, flow rates and water usage by zone. This is very handy for monitoring for potential leaks or broken emitters/sprinklers/pipes in your system. It really takes irrigation control to the next level.Reporting is available via your phone or computer. Pretty awesome.Update: 2016-05I love that I can get a gallons-used reading after every watering. This year when turning the system back on after the winter rains I noticed that one zone was using a bit more water than normal. Turns out the critters had chewed through the 1/8" drip lines in a couple of places. I fixed those, and things are back to normal.I noticed that the item is currently unavailable. Hopefully, Amazon will stock it in the future. It's pretty handy.
