I was looking for something a little different to try and saw this Cabernet Franc from Payout online. I drink mostly Cabernet Sauvignons from Napa, and thought this would be a fun way to try something new, and hoped it would be close. Boy was I surprised! It was definitely NOT a Cabernet Sauvignon, but wow was it delicious! Lots of flavor like a Cab, but subtly different. Lots of blackberry fruit, but also a leafy-spicy taste that is hard to describe but was really good. Very smooth too. Went great with chops on the grill!
