Very sturdy perch that fit in the window without using velcro, etc. so that it will not damage the window. It has a thick carpet on it. Easy to assemble and it looks like it will last a long time.

this is one of the best birthday gifts toot has ever gotten - the product came promptly and beautifuly made and great instructions serious thinking of ordering another one for the other cat we have - toot will not share and never leaves it -- now the window is closed and theres no problem with it staying up -- oh by the way toots is 16 pounds no wall damage - your guys who made this product you are the best -- and toots gives you a paws up on this -- comfortably with lots and lots of padding these people spared no expense in making sure of the cats comfort - they are truly real cat lovers not someone just making a buck

I think for the price that the support hardware should be heavy duty, had to go to Home Depot to beef things up.

THIS WINDOW PERCH IS DEFECTIVE. THE BOLTS ARE TO LONG & THIN & THE WING TIP SCREWS DO NOT TIGHTEN THE LEGS TO THE SEAT FIRMLY. THE LEGS ARE TO SHORT. THE METAL PLATES THAT ATTACHED TO THE WINDOW SILL ARE TOO SHORT. I HAD A CAT WINDOW SEAT LIKE THIS, THE LEGS HAD MED. SIZE BOLTS, INSIDE THE LEG HOLES. ALL YOU HAD TO DO, WAS JUST SCREW THE ENTIRE LEG TO THE SEAT. THEY WERE VERY TIGHT, AND THEY WERE LONGER. ALSO. THE METAL PLATES WERE LONGER. THIS CAT WINDOW SEAT DOES NOT HAVE THE QUALITY, OR VALUE OF THE ORIGINAL VERSION. THE PACKAGING HAD A THIN ACCORDIAN PAPER BOX. IT BROKE IN THE MIDDLE, WHEN I WAS OPENING IT.

I'm buying my second for the double window because, while our cats can sit on this together, it is getting a bit tight! They love to sit and watch the birds at the feeder or take naps while we have dinner (it's at our dining room window). The perch is fairly easy to put up and take down. When we have company it's no problem removing it. But it attaches securely so the cats can jump onto it without feeling movement. The carpet covering it could be more attractive. It's just the standard cheap type. But other than that, people and cats are completely satisfied!
