OrtofonRecord Brush, premium carbon fiber, anti static, red

Habe mir diese Plattenbürste gekauft, weil Ortofon draufsteht und diese Firma meist beste Qualität liefert. Leider ist sie aber nur mittelprächtig: um Staub effektiv zu entfernen, muss die Bürste beim Reinigungsvorgang horizontal gerade ausgerichtet und ein stärkerer Druck ausgeübt werden. Sicher gut, wenn man ein Masselaufwerk besitzt und die Platte auf dem drehenden Plattenteller entstaubt. Für Subchassisdreher aber nicht wirklich geeignet. Wer wie ich eine Plattenbürste verwendet, bevor die LP auf dem Teller liegt, sollte eher zur "Twin Brush Super Exstatic" von Thakker greifen.

Really thought with the Ortofon name the quality would have been better.Fibres were not only poorly cut and at different lengths there were somenot even going in the same direction as the rest. Maybe bad luck but it’s beingreturned. Too bad, looks cool. 👎

An improvement over the cheapo ones that everyone has. The bristles are stronger and I get them impression that they're better at picking up and retaining dust, rather than just scattering it along the record. If I had to pick one thing to complain about, there could be a more elegant way to get the dust off the brush.

First tried the brush on a white record and immediately found it to shed multiple bristles on it's first pass. After cleaning the record with another brush I have, I found it didn't even remove a majority of dust and particles on the record. I'm returning this brush as I don't want to run the risk of damaging my records and stylus. Disappointed that Ortofon would put their name on this brush. Maybe I received a lemon, but I would avoid this brush based on my experience.

Keine schlechte Bürste, aber Preisleistung passt gefühlt trotzdem nicht. Für oberflächlichen Staub geeignet und in der Handhabung praktisch. Der Preis steht allerdings in keinem Verhältnis zum Nutzen.
