Permatex 84200 Underwater Marine Epoxy

Was looking for waterproof epoxy, to stop a very small toilet leak. Tried this, Used on hairline crack on bottom of toilet not the toilet bowl or back of toilet but the very bottom part of the toilet where the water travels down the hole when u flush it. On the outside there was a hairline crack and we put this on there and it stopped the leak. Dries in 24hrs, took a while bc the surface was wet, its hard to get the water out of that part of the toilet so it kept leaking while trying to put on the glue, lol.

Easy to use and works as advertised

Wow, super strong! I needed this for my Mercedes-Benz overhead structural beams that the factory missed, and glue them onto thr van’s ceiling. Perfect. The vibrations and rattles went away. I had an extremely thin space to get this into, so it isn’t always pretty in that situation. But dang, worked exactly as we needed. Super happy and worth the cost.

Repaired Resin Statute. Pros: covered cracks well; seems waterproof. Cons: took a week to dry & still felt sticky; area turned ugly brown. Have several lion statues that need repairing. Will try using on them as well.

Worked as advertised..applied to pool cover and placed under water..let it cured and perfect strong bond.

This stuff sticks to most everything and dries hard don’t be be to thrifty mix up enough to do job used on pool filter part that was cracked and spraying water worked like a tv commercial great

I have used Permatex products for over 50 years and they make some great ones. At 70 degrees, the 15 minute set time on this product is very misleading, more like an hour before it started to "make a move" on setting. It appears to be working but was difficult to keep in place for my repair due to the long set time. It was still very soft at 2 hours. I probably would have used another product if I had known it took this long to set.
