Castiv - Tab Station Adjustable Tablet Holder for Microphone Stand

I bought this holder because I have an iPad and needed a holder to set it on. Surprisingly enough, when I used it for the first time in one of my gigs as a keyboard player... I didn't have to take the iPad out of its case! I recommend this holder for anybody that doesn't want to face the hassle of having to take their iPad or other tablets out of their cases before having it mounted on a holder such as this.

Excellent product construction. The clamps are spring loaded and sturdy. No worries about the tablet coming loose. Gimbal neck allows rotation to any angle.

Got for my "Mini Pad", works well, a little tight with the case I have but works well. Got a mic stand and use it with my drum set. Not the strongest design although works pretty decent.

I bought this holder based on a review that stated it worked with a Toshiba Thrive tablet. This review also stated that the unit was not very heavy duty. Both of these statements are correct. It holds the Thrive securely even though the unit was probably intended for a lighter iPad. The construction is not heavy duty but should be just fine for the occasional use I will put it to. The price was right and frankly I could only find one product out there that claimed to be made specifically for the Thrive and it was expensive and only attached to a camera tripod. This unit is light to carry and as long as one exercises some care in assembly and disassembling...should give good service for a long time.

Such a terrible iPad holder- completely USELESS! Get a Gig Easy and never worry about your iPad again--- super strong hold and great versatility. This Castiv was promptly returned!!!!

Pro: The part of this holder that holds your table works great. Hold my iPad securely while being able to keep my case on.Con: The version I received had the wrong thread for a standard microphone mount. I contacted Castiv regarding this & they admitted that there was a known defect in manufacturing. Unfortunately they had no fix for this issue & said to just screw it on using 1/2 a rotation. This is not acceptable. I am not going to put my iPad on a mount that is not securely attached to the mic stand.The great part about this is that I contacted Amazon & they covered RMA return shipping & qualified me for a full refund due to a defective product. Good job Amazon...you guys know how to take care of your customer. I hope Castiv will correct this issue for future customers...

I wanted a holder form my iPad 2 with the Otterbox case on it. It fits tight, but it fits. The protective rubber pieces on the "handles" are glued on and move when you take the iPad out. I'm guessing those will eventually come off and it won't fit quite right.The angle adjustment doesn't work to my satisfaction. It takes a lot of "work" to get it to the correct viewing angle and to stay in place...and then not so securely. I would buy again though. I've tried 4 different ones and this is the best so far.

Bought this for my little sister. She is an artist who likes to draws inspiration from images online for her paintings. She is also conscious of the environment and hated having to print things out on paper just to look at the image. This gives her an ultra-portable stand for her tablet. She places it near her easel and just paints away. Perfect for any artist, music or canvas.
