Located in central Arizona's Verde Valley is Montezuma Castle National Monument, one of the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America. Go inside the Castle and image life for the Southern Sinagua people who lived here 1000 years ago. Other sites shown in the video: Montezuma Well (with underwater footage), Tuzigoot National Monument, and Palatki, Honanki, and V-Bar-V Heritage Sites near Sedona, which have some of the best preserved rock art in the area. Some of these petroglyphs and pictographs are 6000 years old.
