Calculus: An Intuitive and Physical Approach (Second Edition)

A true builder of intuition
The verbiage leaves no room for misunderstandings. Read the preface and it is clear how the book is written with a principle in the author's mind to give the most useful, thorough, understanding for the reader. Even for those with prerequisites for the book, the preface explains the reasoning which should give any reader the motivation to engage with the pre-calculus sections to attain the best intuition for the rest of the book's contents and calculus in general. This book is timeless, partly due to it's uniqueness, but also the rationale driving that uniqueness. If you want to gain the deepest intuition for calculus from the ground up, this book is exceptional.

Written in plain English.
Very systematic in its approach. I haven’t read all of it but understand the concept so far. It will require a lot of concentration to understand all of it.

A useful textbook. The style of exposition is perhaps a little long winded, but when I reached the Chapters I was interested in (eg Partial Differentiation) the pace of explanation was about right..The questions graduate from simple to difficult but this can be suited to your own learning pace.
