Q: If attached directly to the phone, will the magnet work through a soft case?

I am not sure but would not think so. Bought for my husband's new iPhone 8 . Am having a few issues possibly due to disc size. Mounted fine to his case but when he tried to remove phone from the magnetic dash mount it came off the case and stayed on the mount. This has happened twice. The case is larger than his last phone so may need a larger disc.

Q: How does this magnet affect Qi charging? What can be done to avoid interfering with wireless charging?

Q: Once attached, how can I remove it?
