Heavy duty Boardgame - highly recommended
This is an excellent Board game that is really aimed at serious gamers and not casual players. It is OK to learn (you may need to watch a You Tube Video) but at £63, is expensive. Other sites offer it at £45-£48 (with postage to add) but they were out of stock, hemce my purchase here. Everything was good with the delivery service fulfilled by Amazon

Probably brilliant
Like many of my board games,I bought it but haven't had a chance to play it yet. Apparently it shares some similarities with Dune Imperium, another game I own but haven't played yet.Explore the ruins using worker placement mechanisms, there's also a bit of hand management/deck building. If you want to know more, just check it out on boardgame geek.comNo idea if I'll like it. But if the chaps at the Dice Tower like it, then I will like it.Probably.

Brilliant.
The best board game out there - great mechanics, really challenging, and beautiful on the table. Highly recommended.

One of my favourites
One of my favourite games. A mixture of worker placement and deck builder, with some other interesting elements.Research, explore and efeat guardians to maximise your turns to get the most points over just 5 rounds.Good player aid, iconography is easy to understand once you know the game, fantastic components.Highly recommend to gamers and those taking a step up from "starter games", just a really great game!

Easy to learn and hard to master
This hybrid of deck-building and worker placement is different every time we play. Despite knowing 'good' synergy decks you can only really work with what you've got and who you're playing against. New players will enjoy accumulating points for nearly everything that they do and experimenting with new cards in their deck. Experienced players will quickly see that this isn't as much of a deck builder as it may seem but more strategising with what you have available. Has quite a few loose pieces that come with plastic bags but I prefer smaller organiser boxes that you can also lay out on the board. Great game, little bit pricey.

Complex but deep, clever and FUN!
Not for the faint hearted, it needs time to learn, and gets better the more you play. There are many choices and ways to win. It is of a type called Euro, Worker placement, Deck builder and Resource managment. You buy cards that generate resources to progress across a map to fight to get discoveries/ abilites/ bonuses. There is limited impact from 'randomness'. The overall affect is not just fun but satisfying and 'charming'.BoardGameGeek score 8.1/10Complexity 2.85/5Up to 2 hours playtime1-4 players (best at 3) solo is OKThe box is large and heavy, production quality is excellent, art great, rules clear, components pretty and neat (cystals, tablets and nice pieces). Everyone I know who's played it likes it.It is a best seller (there are many language editions) and mulit-prize winner. There're 2 expansions (1 more planned) and various promo cards. but they are not essential.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Daunting game if you haven't played it before
Firstly, the game is nicely designed and is well produced, it feels solid and vibrant, which is what I want in a game. The game takes a fair amount of time to set up and has a lot of small moving pieces, with the rule book being a lot of pages. There are a lot of rules and subrules, but once you get over the headache it can cause trying to understand them the game is really fun and has a lot of re-playability.I would recommend the game, you just need a little perseverance with the steep learning curve.
