Would give it 5 stars if the button to retract the teeth would be more stable. It is necessary to be certain you push in the very center of the button to retract the teeth evenly. If your pressure is to one side, the teeth do not completely retract on the other side.Otherwise, I do like this brush and actually intend to order a second one - reason? One of our cats has a dander problem, and I am not sure I should use the same brush on both cats. Whoever came up with the idea deserves a cat treat.

This is a really nice brush - and the hair that sticks to it you can peel it right off. Really helped get excess hair off my cat and liked it better than any other brushes I have had. I have the Furminator too but am skiddish using it because my cat is older and sensitive so don't want to use the blade on it incorrectly on her. This brush really helps and don't have the discomfort about using it.

Well, it does a good job catching cat hair, but every one of my five cats HATES it. It is literally easier to give them baths than to use this brush on them. To be fair, ALL brushes have been pronounced evil. Still, I had hopes of pleasant brushing sessions with content cats. The reality is that I have to scruff them and avoid slashing claws and teeth.

This brush is AMAZING! Don't waste a lot of money on expensive brushes. My cats actually like being brushed with this. Best part: one push of the button on the back and easily wipe the wad of hair off the brush. Durable but light weight.

The bristles on the brush stick out just enough when you push the button that you still have to pick the hair off. But it's better than nothing! Still makes getting the hair out of the brush much simpler than one that doesn't use the button method.

If you don't have one you better get one cause this is the best brush for our Aussies that we have ever had. Ordering another one and you better get yourself one. No more pricking your fingers trying to remove the hair. Ordered my second one.

Excellent product my cat love it really help on cat shredding hair. Cats love it did not fight it at all have try other brush but he did not like it on this one one brush he loves it and want to brush more. Brush is excellent.

Had high hopes for this brush. The bristles are very sharp, leading my dog and cat to recoil every time the brush touches them. Appears to be particularly painful around the sides of the chest.
