A beautiful statue to honor the amazing Goddess Brigid! Based off a painting made by Brigid Ashwood and manufactured by Pacific Trading. Great detail in this statue - FYI, the eyes aren't near as dark as the photos.I love the symbolism of the sword and arrow to signify her mastery of the forge and her warrior spirit, and of course her eternal flame of both the forge and of divine inspiration. To me the red roses and white feathers are symbolic of her white cow with red ears from lore; her green bodice a nod to her legendary healing green mantle; and the yellow orange and red of her dress like a sunrise- aligning with Imbolc, the sabbat of the returning of spring and the sun, that she resides over. Her face is representative of what I know Brigid to be- a fierce warrior and smith, but a kind and loving mother, an alluring muse, but a gentle healer.I love this statue so much, that after I got mine, I bought another for my best friend as a gift! They both arrived well packaged and quickly, and will remind us every day of Brigid in our lives and our hearts!

The sword arrived broken off. Thankfully it's a simple fix with a little bit of crazy glue. But it looks like someone broke it off accidentally and stuck it into the styrofoam (weird tbh).Again, good quality otherwise!

The Brighid statue was just the right size to join those of other Irish Celtic deities on our mantle. The colours contrast with the far more subdued tones of the other statues, but considering Brighid's aspects include that of the Maiden, the Virgin Queen, the Bringer of New Life, it fits very well. It arrived early and was in perfect condition. I would happily recommend this seller to anyone else.

Love the details in this statue. Got her for Imbolc and she arrived in plenty of time.

Nice, but overpriced

I am normally not a painted porcelain doll type for statues of deities, however I took a chance as it was lovely and I thought I'd give it a try. Then I received her, the Goddess Brigid, and really took a look at her in my hands instead of a picture (no matter how well taken) on a computer screen. What can I say. I am utterly enchanted and so happily surprised by that being the case. The detail and the colors brought her to life in a very real fashion in my mind. I am actually kind of wondering how I can go with solid metal, stone or wood finishes for the other statues I plan to purchase in the future of this sort. A hundred percent pleased and feel as if I've been given a great gift, especially for the very reasonable price the statue came for.

Gorgeous. I was afraid the colors would look cheap but they look perfect. It is detailed & very well made.

The paint looks great but much like other reviews, it came broken. The sword was broken and behind the actual statue in the plastic bag. Prepare to have glue when you buy it and you’ll be fine

I love the statue, I only had a slight problem with the packaging. I had the same issue others had, the sword she is holding snapped in two. I had some glue I was able to use to give it a quick fix. This statue just needs some extra packaging to prevent breakage. Outside of that, really nice statue, especially for the price.

She was pretty, but too delicate. Her sword broke taking it out of the package. Then barely got bumped and the feathers in the headpiece broke off. I really liked her, but would not buy it again. I tried gluing the pieces back on but they wouldn’t stay.
