FCAROLYN3D Eye Patch (Right Eye)

I recently had a cornea transplant and have been fighting with the cheap concave eye patch you get at CVS, one with a thin strap that is barely adjustable, digs into your skin, and slides all around the back of your head, making your hair crazy in the back. This is the opposite: incredibly comfortable, stays in one place, and doesn't put pressure on the outer part of my eye. I've never written an Amazon review but I want people to know its quality. I very, very highly recommend this product.

I use full masks like these to sleep. They are great. Don't press on your eyes; you can blink; etc.However, because they are dome-shaped... it is difficult to wear with glasses.Also, as most people's faces are shaped differently... this may allow a tiny bit of light in. That being said, the black ones would be much better (as it wouldn't light up as much as the gray would).I would have given it 5-stars if I had gotten the black version.

I am currently unable to close my right eye all the way, this patch will help keep it closed at night (with a little gauze inserted), because there is space under the patch for eye motion, both open and closed. This means that it can be worn during waking hours comfortably for either added protection or light sensitivity, you'll just be at a depth-perception disadvantage.The material is very soft and again, I can't say it enough... COMFORTABLE. The strap is plenty big for my very average head and has a sturdy velcro-like method of attachment in the back. If you NEED an eye patch, you've found it, I promise.

It very much serves its purpose for me. However, I have now ordered three of these eye patches in the past six months. The parch works well except for the fact that the fabric on the inside of the patch separates and rolls up from the main body of the patch rendering virtually useless after daily use for several months. I do however like the fact that the inside of the patch does not touch the eye. Very comfortable to wear.

My left eye is, for reasons entirely unknown to me, much more nearsighted than my right eye. I've never worn glasses and do not plan on starting anytime soon, so I got this in hopes of training my left eye to do at least a little better at distance viewing so I'm not so dependent on my right. I don't expect it to block all the light out perfectly, but it gets pretty close and it's comfortable to boot.
