My child loved this teddy only problem are the eyes are very hard.

Very vibrant coloured! We have on back of our flat bed tow truck and people give us a thumbs up all the time.

So I got this guy to go with the Gund 20" plush Elmo because Gund doesn't make a 20" Cookie, and well, c'mon, it's Cookie! If you're looking for a good sized, soft and squishy pot bellied Cookie Monster you found him. I did a lot of research looking for the right Elmo and Cookie and it was surprisingly hard. Although the quality of the Gund Sesame Street characters is definitely superior to these Playskool options, they don't have these larger sized characters except for Elmo, so I turned to Playskool for our Cookie Monster. You'll see the photos I've compared the sizes of the competition's Elmo plush, which is supposed to be the same as this Cookie.Several key things to note. Cookie's eyes are hard plastic, but more surprisingly so is the black mouth! I expected it to be more like the black felt material in the Gund that's common in these kinds of toys which are usually backed with cardboard or stiff plastic like you can see in Cookie's mouth. Now this may be a downside to some but I see it as a total plus! I mean I fully expect this guy to raid the cookie jar with my son, so isn't it nice that for once, a stuffed animal's mouth will be easy to clean? It's like they thought of that on purpose and I'm so glad they did!Despite having thinner fur as evidenced in photos (if the hair gets worn and mats down it'll be more obvious) it's still soft, just a not silky soft like the Gund Elmo is, which I think you can see well in the photos. He comes in a box and you have to untwist the cloth ties that are attached via a little blue ribbon the same color as his fur, which you can see in the photos. They blend in okay, but to me they'll always be a bit obvious but nothing your child could get hurt on. Cookie has such a soft plump pot belly it's perfect and looks just like him! I saw a lot of Cookie's that basically looked like a blue Elmo with googly eyes and so it's nice to see this guy is big and fat just like on the show. He's a fantastic size for my 27 month old who is getting the pair for Christmas and I can't wait for him! They're the perfect huggable size for anyone. It's hard not to steal him myself. I'm super glad I went with this guy. If I were comparing him to the Gund versions and soley basing my review off that, I'd be giving him four stars, but on his own he earns a solid five.

Great value for the money, soft and well made...I do wish it included a few cookies!
