This game is a great introduction to One Night. The cartoonish art and colorful designs are cool and a fresh take on the typical werewolf design.However, as we were reading about the roles, we were disappointed to find that every role (with the exception of one) is a reskin of an existing role from one of the previous One Night games.If you were hoping for new roles, this is not the game for you. This game is literally exactly the same as its Werewolf counterpart: the names of the roles have changed, but the roles haven't actually changed and there is no nuance to the game as with the Vampire or Alien expansions. I was expecting something fresh, but it's literally a rebranded original werewolf set. I imagine it's supposed to be more kid friendly or something, except the box says ages 14+? Not to mention, the guys script for the app is waay more annoying. It's agonizing to listen to. Poor voice guy, I'm sorry they made you do that.

This game is super simple. The app basically narrates and helps you play the game. It takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes to play. We even adapted it to work on zoom by designating one person as a moderator. I would say that the one thing I would have hoped for is a bit more with the app so that it could be played online more easily. The concept is great and it was fun. The price was a bit high for the simplicity of the game, but it’s most likely for the app.

I love that the game short so if you dont like the character you get you're not them for long AND THEY MADE AN APP SO NOBODY HAS TO BE THE NARRATOR!! Its also just really fun to play, especially since you can combine with all or parts of any of their other packs.

My least favorite of the "One Night" Series, but still fun! If your family does not like the horror theme of Werewolves, Vampires, and Witches, then this might be the version for your family. It plays very similar to the original "One Night" Game, but with Super Heroes.
