I used this on my 1962 chevy with a 350 engine spark plug wires. The new wires set are the kind that had both ends already attached at manufacturing which made it difficult to slide the sleeves over the MEI electronic distributer cap. If it was the spark Plug wire set of the kind that you can cut to size and then slide the sleeves on after crimping the ends it would have been a very easy project to slide the sleeves on the wires. Also I believe a standard coil type ignition and a ready made wire set would not have presented a problem because the distributor boots are smaller and would have slide on rather easily. I don't consider this to be a manufacturer defect however it would be helpful for the seller to note that on the instructions and on the sellers amazon posting. I am after all that trouble of getting the sleeves over the distributor end caps I am very pleased with the look and function of protecting the wires from the hot exhaust manifold. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of sliding it on premade spark plug wires was the difficulty in sliding on the sleeves so that others could make an informed decision before purchasing.

Product is good quality for the money. Only been on my car for several weeks. But they seem to protect the spark plug boots well. Do not see any burns and they are touching my header pipes on several cylinders.
