10 year old boy loved this, Collaborative, Reading
This was a BDay gift for my 10 year old nephew who lives a long distance away, so I asked a friend who had just attended a bday party with 20 ten-year old boys what the popular presents were. This was on the list. It was a hit, and every spare moment, he asked me to play. Well designed game that encourages collaboration, searching details for clues, and bonus - he worked on his reading skills since he was the Lead Detective. It starts with an easier training crime, and progresses to more difficult. Tips: you need a large table to lay out the map and good lighting to see the detail. Adults will need their glasses. It comes with one magnifying tool. It was fun! Also satisfying to piece together the crime scene and solution. Game says 12 and up, but this 10 year old did great.

Love the concept lots of fun
I love the concept and its sooo much fun to play with friends and family. If you love solving mysteries and puzzles this is a great blend. It’s like murder mystery meets where’s Waldo. You read a story and try to figure out the crime and what happened. Different scenarios offer varying levels of difficulty so there’s fun for everyone. All ages and experiences levels can find something to enjoy in this genre. I love it and plan to buy the entire series I hope they keep making more! Need a big table to fully see the map and follow the leads.

So fun but so flimsy
This game is sooo fun but the paper is so massive and very flimsy. It requires a ton of table space and if you have to play on the floor I’d be worried the paper would tear accidentally. We don’t have the space for it currently but I can see how a piece of plexiglass on top would make this easier, and would also probably make the game last longer. If this were printed on sturdier material or came as multiple, smaller maps that would be easier to use in a wider variety of settings. The game itself is very fun though! We enjoy this as a group and solving the different crimes. Super fun!

Such a fun game
If you are into mysteries and board games this is the game for you. The games starts off easy, but easily gets more challenging. So much fun to play with you and your significant other or a party. Make sure to have a table that everyone can see and go around the board. Easy game to follow and understand the instructions. After going through the game once you could easily do it again, as there is so many different mysteries inside. May not be child appropriate though, but is mild in crude material.

Excellent game, perfect for 2 players.
Saw the game online, sounded interesting. Read a few reviews and all were positive. Now that I’ve played the game I wanted to add to the positive reviews. It’s a mix between where’s Waldo and who-done-it. Me and my daughter love the game! There are extra stories online as well once you complete all the stories.TIP: I read a review before I bought that said to use plastic over the paper game map. Then you can use dry erase markers to make notes and follow stories. That was the BEST advise. I bought plastic on Amazon (Crystal Clear PET Plastic Sheets... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09572YB4T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) wasn’t a perfect fit but I cut the extra length to fill in for the width (needed a few cuts) and just scotch taped the pieces together. I really don’t know how you would play without this. I guess it would just be much harder but I suggest using plastic over the map for sure A++ til from previous reviewer.
