Product itself super, but poor Amazon packaging
The is wool roving is so nice. I appreciate that it’s naturally colored and not dyed. It doesn’t have any strange chemical smells or odors. It’s plenty soft.*** My only complaint is Amazon is so goofy. The wool comes on this handy nice storage box, but Amazon packed the order in a bubble wrap envelope. Of course, the box got completely crushed. I hope the seller can place a complaint to Amazon itself in regards to this very poor packaging.

Fantastic for Needle felting
I'm new to needle felting and was so pleased that I bought this. It's soft, perfectly clean and amazing for needle felting. Works well as core or tops wool. Great value and a pleasure to work with. I might try dying it next!

Super-soft, multi-use, must-have Wool!
I'm very pleased with the amount for the reasonable price. It's extremely smooth, and so even. I'm really surprised that they call this "core wool" though--to me it's far too silky smooth and sleek to be considered that!It felts up nicely though; I knotted a length a few times and felted using a 2-needle holder (using size 38s, for reference), and it didn't take long at all to get a nice roundness, and I was very pleased with the density I achieved in what I'd characterize as a normal amount of time. For being so soft, it has a reeeally good "tooth," which I guess is a hallmark of Corriedale? I'm a fan now!So, just be aware that this is a lot nicer than "just" carded core wool--I feel it's nice enough to use as the outside too. Also, it arrived the next day, which is ~amazing~!!

I love the color and it is exactly as advertised. I spun my first time with this roving and it lovely. The love is really reasonable for the good quality.

Nice
This wool is a nice shade of white, feels good, very clean and was delivered to my door in 2 days. My issue is that it does not wet-felt as easily as some I have purchased elsewhere. I use it to make felted soap, it does not shrink as tightly nor felt well with other wool of color. It could be that they are not the same type of wool (the other was Merino) or it could be "operator error", I don't know... I don't needle felt so I don't have any opinion on how it might work for that. I guess my best advice would be: if you are a wet-felter don't make a large purchase of this wool until you have tried it out. I will continue to use this up for my soap and will update this review if I discover some wet-felting success tips along the way. Also, as you can see from the picture, mice love this wool so don't put it unattended on the counter to dry and then leave home for 2 days. Hahaha

Great felting!
I ordered this for the first time to make luminaries by wet felting and it has worked wonderfully. It felt quickly and it gives me the strength I need to hold it up but light enough to be a luminary

Very good quality wool for my squirrels
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for a different reason than most. I have some neighborhood squirrels that I feed and who come visit. It gets pretty cold in winter here, so I bought some wool to help them so they could insulate their nests. I chose wool cause it said it had antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, would keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and would insulate even when wet, among other things. I left chunks of wool out for them - the first few days, they didn't take it, probably not sure what it was for, but when it really started to get cold, they gladly snatched up all the wool left out for them. We had a really cold winter last winter, where we even had -40 degree for 3 weeks straight so I'd like to think the wool helped keep them warm and survive the winter because the same ones have returned to visit. It's not quite cold out yet, but I've started to put some wool out for them again and they are happily carrying it away with them already.

Perfect for weaving
Beautiful clean soft wool! I used this for macrame weaving so can’t say anything about how it needle felts, but for my purpose, it was perfect. There’s a lot fit into one box too!
