It functions as advertised but be aware it doesn't give you a reading AS you fill up AND if you leave the batteries in for more than 10 days they will be depleted. I think the design is flawed, -perhaps it's grounding out. I got a refund but since then I've seen similar complaints SO buyer beware!!!
